I know you weren't speaking to me but just wanted to add that the game was definitely rough. To be excited about.. I was very pleased Justin Smith's improved hedging and his general defense on his guy, staying down along with help side. I thought Devonte was miserable on offense but VERY good on D with Frazier. He appeared to be sweating his arse off last night too so not sure if he was focusing purely on defense or maybe he isn't feeling the best. The thing I'm not excited about is how snake bitten this team is.. Juwan and Deron banged up. We are an injury away from this season heading the wrong direction. I could be way wrong but I feel like we are taking concussion protocol over the top, as a program decision.

I've watched that JSmith dunk a few times now. He definitely looks back at Morgan who got hit. Doesn't matter really but makes me wonder if it lit a fire under him before that dunk. Then the lady commentator said Jmo was on the bench and told Smith, Al and Green that somebody needs to step up and be a 3rd scorer. I'm going to miss Morgan when he's gone. Want a run this year just for him battling through everything over the years, for IU.

That's exactly where I am. Yeah we have some Crean players.. so.. does Louisville have a roster full of stars? I feel lately like it's going to take IU to have 3 Romeo's and a Morgan on the floor for IU to sniff the elite eight. I usually level headed but I've never been so disappointed with a 5 point trail in my life. I just feel like IU is spinning it's wheels as a program and will never get traction. I'm just in a bad mood about life as an IU fan and I'll get over it lol

Im sorry guys, this is why I just can't get excited about IU as much as I used to. 1st year coach just waltzing into Assembly Hall. Their defense looks amazing. I dunno, IU is just whatever this year and I don't understand why exactly.

Did Archie always start out slow in Dayton and come on strong later? I just feel like we have too many talented options to be playing like this. Granted it is still early. But Morgan, Romeo and Phinisee are too good of a combo.

I just don't know what to think about this team. We did just take out the #8 defense on the road. But, Romeo not touching the ball for so many stretches is mind boggling. I don't know if he's fading away from the ball due to his unassuming nature at times. Then he turns it on... I dunno, he needs set plays ran for him but he also didn't convert on several attempts in the 2nd. And I fully trust Archie for not playing Clifton. Archie has to know way more than us. Then he comes in for a few and has to have a huge plus(minus) on the game. He did nothing wrong and basically did everything right and knocked down a throw. I don't want him playing in the tight fame but he doesn't play when we are up 14 in the 2nd? I dunno dog, he was totally altering shots too. I might be switching teams on the Clifton front if he plays like that again. If we're going to let Devonte and Smith make bone headed plays, then let Clifton screw up some for some experience and bear us fruit later.

lolol, look, I'm so excited about the upcoming year. Jake has not put on 12lbs of lean muscle mass in 1 month. That's absolute garbage and not even possible on moderate to high gear (tren, d-bol, test, winstrol). Either the starting recorded metrics were junk or he has simply gained 12 overall pounds. I do think this S&C staff is great and a relief over the previous hype guy.

I think Smith is going to be pretty big for us this year. Repeating myself from a few weeks back but I'm salivating at a Junior and Senior Justin Smith. The stroke is too pure and he's way too strong already to not be a force at the 4 spot. A rotation of Morgan/Smith/Race has to contend with anything in the big ten.
