We can bank on the go-to, everyone dribble the ball to the baseline and step on the line, dribble the line, shove the ball away and tip toe the line and chase ur own dribble (Josh somehow has mastered the subtle pass to himself that looks like a dribble) and... Yea seriously.. Davis was in the group of "not 100%" but is it that bad. Wisky couldn't stop davis in Bloomington and they weren't really going to stop him today if we kept playing and feeding him. Is he actually hurt that bad? On the surface, playing Davis 30 mins a game is smart.. but who knows.. Crean doesn't seem to like to do very cerebral things, in game. So what is the norm for shorter term contracts and head coaching? I used to be in the "don't trade Crean for a lateral higher" crowd but at some point, the fanbase and program loses some luster. Can we rip Holman and offer him 3 years with a promise talk of extension at the end of year 2? Is that too short for "recruiting confidence"? He is walking into a "clean" program, ripe with potential, the name, the facilities, a crazed fanbase and a recruiting bed that is nearly on fire in his back yard. I have much more faith in Glass than Crean. His body of work shows he is willing to make some swift and tough decisions so I feel pretty good about where his head is at on the subject of Crean. I fear that we have to nutt-up for 1 remaining year while we align a proper hire in the back channels. Lol @ us on this board next year if that is so. U just think Crean is also smart enough to leave on his own terms, after our NIT run, rather than taking a hit himself by grossly underperforming next year. Although, we still would have enough talent to do ok.. probably an uninspired squad. I ultimately hate that kids are caught up in what is about to be.. a roster blow up with a coach change.
