  1. Hope Peterson and Moore-McNeil can consistently be that productive off the bench. 3-point shooting may be challenging again this season but one game does not a season make.
  2. Rick Bozich just reminded us that the President of Miles College is.......................Bobbie Knight!
  3. Wonder if the freshman from Georgia Keyarah Berry is injured?
  4. Halftime and it's all IU as expected leading 53-21 as they outscored UIndy 28-6 in the quarter. Holmes - 13 points, 6 rebounds Berger - 10 points Patberg - 9 points, 3 assists
  5. No surprises to the starting lineup: Holmes, Gulbe, Patberg, Cardano-Hillary and Berger. 25-15 Hoosiers led at the end of the 1st Q and then rattled off 12 unanswered points to open the 2nd Q. Berger with 7 points as the Hoosiers shot 69.2% (9-for-13) in the opening frame. https://www.mainstreamnetwork.com/listen/player.asp?station=whcc_fm
  6. B1G awards announced today. Roman Celentano became the first ever two-time Goalkeeper of the Year winner and named to the All-B1G First Team along with Defensive Player of the Year winner Daniel Munie. Bezerra, Endeley and Glass named to the Second Team. Tommy Mihalic and Sam Sarver named to the All-B1G Freshman Team. Joey Maher won the Sportsmanship Award.
  7. Somewhat taking the luster off what should be a shining moment for the team and Woody next Tuesday. Awkward timing to say the least.
  8. All this time has elapsed and not a peep? C'mon people. If there was anything there's no way it could be kept under wraps this long. And if there was anything why wouldn't the university want to get out in front of it with at least an acknowledgement that it was aware of an event? Now for you conspiracy theorists, the timing of the reported Kopp incident and canceling the Fan Fest scrimmage are an interesting coincidence. Hmmmmm!
  9. '24 PF Morez Johnson, Jr. of St. Rita HS in Chicago committed to Illinois. Our previous regime kicked the tires on Johnson.
  10. Fan Fest becoming a little less festive. HoosierHysterics! @HoosierHystrcs Fellow #Hoosiers, out of an abundance of caution w/ the season 3 days away, we’ve been asked to not do the scrimmage part of Fan Fest. If you’d like a refund, email iuticket@indiana.edu BUT…then you miss selfies/autographs w/ the #iubb team, seeing COACH KNIGHT & so much fun!
  11. Travis Branham's list of sleeper freshmen. Tamar Bates | Indiana | SG | No. 29 Overall Mike Woodson took over in Bloomington and quickly got to work on the recruiting trail. He hit the transfer portal hard but also landed one highly touted high school prospect in Tamar Bates. The 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy broke out as a star in the 2021 class last high school season. The lefty is a confident and skilled scorer who is also capable of playmaking for his teammates. There is age and experience on Indiana's perimeter with guys like Xavier Johnson, Rob Phinisee, Parker Stewart and even Khristian Lander but Bates is expected to have a serious role with the Hoosiers this upcoming season. Bates skillset and his three-level scoring will be valuable to Woodson's program as they get things rolling in year one. https://247sports.com/college/michigan/LongFormArticle/Sleeper-freshmen-preview-college-basketball-Kobe-Bufkin-Tamar-Bates-Kowacie-Reeves-Tyrese-Hunter-Malaki-Branham-Josh-Minott-Jabari-Smith-174513755/#174513755_1

  16. I'd opt for the cast on Scott May's arm that likely cost us 2 consecutive undefeated seasons or the trash receptacle that became a second home to a Puerto Rican police officer courtesy of Knight.

  24. Borzello - The NCAA has rejected Oklahoma State's appeal and the Cowboys are banned from the 2022 postseason, source confirmed to ESPN. First reported by @MattNorlander. OK State was given postseason ban in 2020, but appealed. Stems from Level I violation involving ex-assistant Lamont Evans
