So then you're happy JBJ can't play because he too is a liability on defense?    I'm not being a wise ass or picking on you, but it does seem that the same arguments apply to both players -- liability on defense but both can shoot.  At the very least, in JBJ's absence, Z forces teams to spread their defense.  He's in a big time slump but he'll find his stroke and when he does, some team will pay dearly if they let him roam.

Pretty hard to make any other argument.  I think you hit the nail on the head with both analyses.

I fear a long year for my second favorite school.  Just don't have the type of roster they need to compete in the Big East.

On 1/8, SB Riley defeated Elkhart Central 70 - 47; Anderson with 14 points on 6 of 12 from the field and 9 rebounds.

Overland lost to Eaglecrest in a game that Davis had to sit out because he had been ejected in his previous game.

On 1/9, Marion defeated Fort Wayne South Side 76 - 65.  Blackmon with 11 pts. on 5 of 16 from the field; 3 rebounds; 2 assists; 2 steals and 3 TO's.

I'm beginning to feel a twinge of nervousness.  We lost the fire we had in the first half and OSU decided not to roll over and play dead after all.

So what's the difference?  Why all of a sudden have become a good team vs. a mediocre to less-than-mediocre team?    JBJ's lack of defensive effort is no longer an issue; emergence of OG; what else?

I must be having some kind of late stage hallucination left over from the 60's.
