  1. At the half, Lady Hoosiers lead 36 - 29.  Buss with 11; Cahill with 9, McBride with 7 and Gassion with 6.  Still controlling the boards with 18 rebounds vs. only 7 for Yale.  Shooting 50% from the floor as a team.  Only real negative is sloppy ball handling with 11 turnovers.  4 Yale girls with 2 fouls each; Cahill only Hoosier with 2 fouls.
  2. Lady Hoosiers off to a good start and at the end of the 1st quarter lead 21 – 15 led by 9 from Buss, 4 from Gassion and 5 from Cahill.  Cahill did pick up 2 fouls in the quarter.   Ladies controlling the boards with 8 rebounds to only 1 for Yale.
  3. Geez, everybody's a critic!           7:00 p.m. E.T.
  4. The Yale Mudpuppies (8-5) visit Assembly Hall to challenge our Lady Hoosiers (7-4).  Game is televised on BTN Plus; available on radio at:  http://www.iuhoosiers.com/watch/?Live=58   and game stats at:  http://sidearmstats.com/indiana/wbball/   7:00 p.m. ET tipoff.   Time for the Ladies to start a new winning streak after a rough trip to FL.
  5. Don't disagree.  But we know he wouldn't stay unemployed for very long.  Maybe the new job wouldn't pay quite as much and he might not have the recruiting budget he has now, but do you really see him as Gen. Custer at Little Big Horn?  I think despite the make-up of his personality, there is a limit on how much pushback he will ultimately accept.   On the other hand, one more player in the police reports could be the flashpoint for a resignation.
  6. Surely there's a point at which CTC himself says enough is enough and the 2 sides get together, negotiate a buyout and CTC announces his resignation.  He's got to be painfully aware that he is not a beloved and revered coach and likely never will be.  How much stress does he want to continue to place on himself and his family?
  7. It's theoretically possible, but why would CTC agree to such a move?  Also, it's a move I don't see Glass making.  I don't think it would make the university look very good.
  8. For what it's worth, these last 30 posts or so have really been interesting and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way.  The back and forth has been very informative to me.
  9. WatShot is correct.  There is a website devoted to the buyout at:  http://www.tomcreanbuyout.com/
  10. Per Mike Miller, Laken is now on campus and will very quickly start practicing with the team.
  11. Northwestern's Alex Olah out indefinitely with a stress fracture.  We play them at home on 1/23.   http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2015/12/27/stress-fracture-in-foot-sidelines-northwesterns-olah-indefinitely/
  12. I think it's time for a DIVINE ending to this game!   Or not!
  13. Interesting article in the Indpls Star written by Tim Sullivan of the Louisville Courier-Journal about Al Hmiel a former assistant coach at the U of Cincy back in the 1970's, and what role he played in recruiting for Cincy.  Lot of the people he references are now deceased and the simple passage of time makes it nearly impossible to verify what he alleges, but it is quite an entertaining article nonetheless. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/2015/12/25/confessions-college-hoops-slimeball/77911644/
  14. Your optimism reminds me of this Christmas story.  The only thing little Hova wanted for Christmas was a pony.  Every letter he wrote to S. Claus and every Santa he saw that's the only thing he wanted.  Come Christmas morning all he found was a pile of horse manure under his Christmas tree which he immediately began to dig into flinging pieces left and right.  When asked what he was doing, little Hova replied, "With all this horse sh**t, there must be a pony underneath somewhere."
  15. Merry Christmas to everyone.  If you're traveling over the holiday weekend, stay safe.
  16. Guess they don't know that Santa is still taking names for his naughty list.
  17. See what happens.  We become a football school with a bowl game and suddenly everybody's a fan!   I am kidding.  Glad to have you with us and hope you enjoy the group.
  18. Ain't it great to be a football school!  Go Hoosiers!
  19. For those of you who will be in attendance, the current weather forecast is for temps in the low 50's, wind from the NE at 7 mph; and 70% chance of showers.  Dress appropriately or inappropriately depending upon how much you have to drink!  :cheese:
  20. Where there's smoke there's usually a fire of some magnitude.
  21. Winners Runners up of the Pinstripe Bowl  84   Hucksters    72
  22. Winners Runners up of the Pinstripe Bowl    75   Rugrats   68
  23. I don't know.  This was the first actual game I've seen him play and I don't think there was much defense being played by either team.
  24. Final score  93 - 85   Oak Hill defeats Huntington Prep.  CuJo with 27 points.
