  1. Play calling went to hell the latter half of that drive. Were moving it easily and had plenty of time. Should’ve kept feeding Scott.
  2. Aren’t we about to hire Ole Miss’ DB coach?
  3. Doubt it, but he’ll be in the NFL kicker rotation for 20 years. Same guys getting called in whenever there’s an opening, like substitute teachers.
  4. Is there something about Trevor Lawrence being a generational QB that I’m missing?
  5. Tom Allen’s statement on the uniform move: "To clarify what we are wearing on our uniform and helmet for tomorrow's Outback Bowl: since I took over as Indiana head coach, this program's mantra has been LEO, Love Each Other. This season has been the most trying we will ever experience, and we felt it was appropriate to showcase LEO, which has carried us through one of the most historic years in Indiana Football history, We did not intend to show any disrespect to anyone. We are a proud member of the Big Ten and are always representing our conference, LEO is the foundation of our program and we want to bring in 2021 focusing on our team and Love Each Other. LEO!"

  7. IU will not be wearing a B1G logo on their uniforms or helmets tomorrow.
  8. Are the seven or so non-Indiana players on our roster really hurting the economy by not staying in the state after they graduate? Shame on Tom Pritchard for moving back to Ohio. How about we recruit who gives us the best chance of winning, actually win for once, and draw the best students to Bloomington the way they now flock to Tuscaloosa because of Bama football or Tallahassee after FSU won the national championship in 2014. Applications and quality of students go up when teams win.
  9. Does the same logic apply to out-of-state students? I have a bachelors and masters from IU and never once gave a thought to living in Indiana. Guess my OOS tuition and willingness to pay a little extra to live downtown did nothing for the local economy either.
  10. He would bring some stability to the DC role for a bit, not have to worry about a young up and comer jumping after a year or two.
  11. Is the percentage of team availability not a thing anymore? I heard they may not even know how many positives until tomorrow.
  12. His whole team went home for Christmas. I put this game at 15% likelihood of happening.
  13. In the history of basketball, there has never been a good team that could not shoot. We have not been able to shoot for four years... Archie feels like he’s been an interim coach for four years. The guy hasn’t embraced being the face of our program at all.
  14. The lack of fans really highlights the haves from the have nots. Indiana basketball is not in the same realm as the other “blue bloods” at this point. This hasn’t been a premiere program for two decades, and with no fans, no William Tell, no nothing other than the players on the court, we’re no different than Oklahoma State or Miami.
  15. Can this guy get a shooter for f’s sake!? The team plays defense, he’s recruiting the state and they move the ball well enough in the half court. That checks the box on the key things we wanted coming out of Crean’s departure.
  16. Short answer, get some shooters. That’s really it...Everything else would fall into place.
  17. 8 teams - five conference champs and three at-large, no more than two teams per conference can make the playoff. There also needs to be a uniform regular season across the country. I’d actually prefer we go to a ten game season with 8 conference games and do a crossover game at the end of the season during championship week for the 11th game. This would keep the season length reasonable and the games meaningful. Every bowl team would still play 12 games and the CFP championship teams would play 14 games. At the end of the day, what matters most in however this is changed is providing an objective path for every team to play for the national championship entering the season. That’s why despite the bubble snub controversy in the NCAAT, every team still had their chance. Take the politicking out of it and let it be settled on the field.
  18. I think 50% is more reasonable than full capacity. Once this vaccine has hit the population, it’s not going to be a flip of the switch policy-wise opening everything back up. If the non-vulnerable and prioritized groups are only really getting their hands on it by the summer, then I have a hard time seeing full stadiums come late August (at least in the Big Ten). From there, it’s a consideration of will the Big Ten allow for stadiums to increase their attendance throughout the season or will it be capped throughout. I’d bet on the latter. Also, come fall we’re back in holidays and cold weather coupling with potential first dose immunity beginning to wane. Things will have improved by then, but we’re not going to be back to where things were Jan. 2020 by Q4 2021.
  19. I doubt we’ll be anywhere near full capacity in stadiums for fall 2021. And if COVID is still running rampant around college campuses, we may see some more flexibility baked into the schedule again. It’s too far ahead to already be planning for next season, but if there is any accommodation to account for positive cases, our schedule may still be tweaked. It’s not going to be an easy start as it currently is set up. @Iowa to open and then vs. Cincinnati week 3. Fickle may not be their coach by then.
  20. They’re going to need to let Tuttle air it out much more than the Wisconsin game. Ole Miss averages 40 ppg and over 500 yards on offense, but they also let up 40 points ppg and over 500 yards on defense. They sling it around, and we’re bound to force some turnovers given this. I think they’re going to put up some points, but the opportunity will be there for us to return the favor in spades. Let the offense do it’s thing. Indiana - 34 Mississippi - 28
  21. Iowa fans are not too pleased with Barta either. They think he’s been helping ISU in all this.
  22. Love the fire from Fred Glass and the support for the program. Glad he is voicing what we all want to say at those responsible. However, IUFB must tread a very fine line about being mad at the committee and not acting like we’re too big for this game. We haven’t won a bowl in over 25 years, so let’s take care of business in Tampa, finish the season top 10 and open next year the same.
  23. 8 loss South Carolina taken over 9-2 Army. Whole thing is a joke.
  24. Win this game and we may finish #5 in the AP poll. Just win baby.
