With all this talk of asterisks in every sport this year, here’s a question for the IU faithful. If this year’s national champion goes undefeated, what is the minimum number of games they would need to play this year for it to legitimately count as the next undefeated champion.

There was a 60 Minutes piece on this topic. Focused a bit on Minnesota cutting sports, including men’s gymnastics, which was the NCAA runner-up last year. Link

The WRs are gone. McFadden is most likely to be a 7th rounder or UFA. Probably comes back but depends on the feedback he gets.

I’m assuming it’s some way of acknowledging our coach is Ric Flair.

The weird thing is, if OSU comes out right now and says they forfeit next week, they get to be 5-1 without playing next weekend and play in the Big 10 championship, but if the game is called off they can’t, so I can’t totally disagree with changing the 6 game rule. However, the message being sent by OSU, the Big Ten, Barry Alvarez, etc. is do whatever is in the best interest of your program. So I hope Michigan pulls the rug and IU gets play NW for the Big Ten title.

Hopefully folks can get off after Glass for making this move. Allen is the perfect coach for IU.

THE WS hero. Came back from injury to play and he 3 hits in game 7, and represented the winning run (was pinch run for).

He has a quintessential early 90s quarterback name. I’m excited to see what he can do. Season is not lost by any means.

Illinois St. scored 177 points in regulation tonight against Greenville (who?). They shot 70-81 from the field, and were only 8-14 from 3. Must’ve been a layup clinic because that is absurd.

I understand the money difference, but he’ll be fired within 6 years like anyone else who takes that job.

Could do without Lander shooting for at least two years.

Sir Yacht, the Twitter clown who called the Big Ten returning this fall, is now saying that Michigan is shutting down football for the next two weeks (they’ve already announced this weekend is off but that would also mean no OSU game), that Harbaugh is out after this year....and that Coach Allen is their leading target.

I may be in the minority, but unless it’s a spotlight weekend game on ESPN or CBS, I’d rather listen to this nonsense from Walton than an actual announcer.

Was only able to catch a few minutes during the first half. Bill Walton was going off about the right cream soda to bring on a camping trip. Liked what I saw from the team though!

Between this and Minnesota being a dumpster fire, the average league games may drop low enough that OSU is still eligible. Will have to see how it shakes up.

Terrible break for him and the team. Third year in a row he gets hurt...Is this the same leg he hurt two years ago? Tuttle has a good arm and the coaches should let him throw it around.

The teams never stopped practicing, so when they decided to resume the season they did not need to wait five weeks.

If this ends up costing an undefeated OSU a seat at the CFP, Warren may be gone. I know...”he won’t be”...but that would be like the ACC commissioner’s incompetency costing Duke an NCAAT appearance.

We wouldn’t be sitting at 5-1 with a 7 point loss to OSU if Ramsey stayed.
