Slept walk through the first half, but defense was great again. Hopefully Penix is ok to finish the season, encouraging he was walking in the tunnel on his own.
I’m injecting my own comments and opinions into the conversation as it relates to where Georgia is ranked, and given they are ranked ahead of us, it impacts where we are ranked regardless of you being ok with where we’re ranked.
These freshmen move the ball better in the half court in their first collegiate game than the 2012-13 team did in the NCAAT...guess that means the future is bright?
It means we’re going up against the big boys in terms of perception and we’re a long ways away from catching a break when it’s comes to being ranked among them.
I think it’ll happen. They’ve missed two games already, and while MD is in no position to compete for the division, there’s just something about not wanting to play less than the 6 games you need to be eligible.
Everything today was a win for IUFB except the final outcome. Both Gameday and FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff had great pieces showing Coach Allen’s love for his players and enthusiasm for the program. The team took it to OSU til the very end and everyone is now talking about Penix. Need to build off this in recruiting. Feels like IU is the “it” program in the big ten behind OSU in appealing to recruits. Michigan, PSU, MSU, and Nebraska all very stale right now.
This team...Indiana football has arrived. Can’t win them all and need to play cleaner, but the foundation is here to be competitive more often than not if Allen sticks around. We’re officially at a point where the next step in our program’s success goes through beating OSU, which is on par with where Penn State and Michigan have been.
This year doesn’t count against player eligibility, right?
