  1. Street clothes Georgia player likely just cost them a TD with that sideline interference....yikes.
  2. Can't wait to watch the SEC Talking Heads spin this...
  3. Lyonel Anderson was his name. I vaguely remember hearing crazy stories about him all the time...if my memory serves me right, one story was that while at IU he delivered his baby in the car in the parking lot of the hospital or somewhere near it.
  4. We probably crossed paths that night...upstairs bar by the dance floor. Our favorite bartender worked up there solely...was over served far too many times to count. The good ole' days. But...I agree, IU Players have been going out to the bars, during the season, for a long, long time...even the nights before games. I am confident that kids partying is not just an IU problem. The difference between us and other successful programs is that there is a large contingent of IU fans very unhappy with the program, Woodson and the players, and thus...pictures like this surface knowing it will reflect bad on a coach they want fired and a program they are unhappy with. The accessibility of the internet and ability to share information at ease is a part of this, but IMO, other big time programs seemingly not dealing with / having these issues brought to light is not a product of players not partying or going out, but more to do with a fanbase at those programs unwilling to compromise the success of their team and looking the other way. People may not agree with players doing certain things, but you have to be in a pretty bad spot as a program IMO for fans to intentionally do things that will be detrimental to the players and team they follow / support.
  5. No other college in the country would have paid Mike Woodson $4.5 million to coach their program. The “market”, is his Alma Mater where his best buddy and a couple deep pockets were able to get him the job. Plain and simple. Mike Woodson just isn’t a good college coach, and the market will soon show that if he’s let go and doesn’t retire.
  6. Not doubting you or this…because I have seen it posted on here several times, and it was even mentioned on the hysterics podcast (Not a big hysterics guys…but I listened for the drama) episode with Brian Evans where they said it was a fact that he didn’t report to Dolson. Is this actually true? And if so, who does he report to?
  7. Kamara is cominggg backkkk!
  8. Not to be overshadowed….we picked up a punter in the portal haha.
  9. Football School, Football School!
  10. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to win, but I wasn’t worried about us losing. Amazing season… What I was worried about was us losing badly, playing terrible, and keeping this narrative alive that we didn’t belong. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a driven agenda to crap on a team. That narrative was set before the game even started, and our Punting, tackling, game management, etc. surely didn’t help us any. But the reality is…We went 11-1 (before last night) in the “second” best P4 conference and curb stomped everyone along the way. With a roster not as talented as ND, we lost by 10 on the road in a difficult environment while playing like dog crap to the team a lot of pundits have picked to win the whole dang thing. The media better dog walk every other CFP team that loses outside the spread and call them unworthy…but we know they won’t. Let them hate, let the chip continue to build and come back hungry next year.
  11. Cig was trying to be friendly….freeman wanted nothing to do with it haha.
  12. What exactly did he say? I missed that.
  13. So in the end…we lose by 10 on the road to Notre dame and played like dog crap the majority of the game haha
  14. Frustrating to put together a drive when it doesn’t matter haha.
  15. We will likely get zero benefit of the doubt in seasons to come, until we win or are competitive in these big games. The fact that I’m evening typing that about IUFB in December is not lost on me… Great Season boys…can’t wait to see what this staff and team are made of next year!
  16. Umm…I love cig. But you can’t talk the talk he has and have your team come out and lay an egg… And you especially can’t punt down 17 with 10 to go…in a win or go home game.
  17. If we don't go the big name proven D1 Route, he definitely intrigues me the most out of any of the other options.
  18. That's why he gets paid the big bucks...and for all of our sakes, I hope he makes the right choice haha.
  19. D2 National Championships, yes. But he hasn't won consistently at the D1 level...yet. He is in his first year at Drake. I am not saying he isn't a great coach and wouldn't have success, I was merely pointing out I think there would be a much shorter leash with the fan base for someone like him vs. a proven D1 winner.
  20. My only fear in going with someone like McCollum...this fan base is fractured, tired and seething for immediate success. If you hire a big name, the fan base may be more likely to point to prior success and give them some grace. I fear the negativity would fire up quickly for a largely unproven lower level coach if they don't have immediate success. As a fan base, we have been told "a coach needs time" for the last 8 years...not sure that will fly again with whoever we hire given the current NIL environment and resources available, where you can flip rosters and teams year 1. As much as I'd love us to find an up and coming diamond that can lead our program to glory, I worry about going that route vs. a proven winner at this level.
  21. Several of my buddies from rival schools still to this day give me crap about the Stevens and Donovan rumor mill that got me excited in years past...I refuse to let myself go down that path again haha.
  22. I still would love to see what Bruce Pearl could do here for 10ish years...I know he is 64, but you'd think he was 15 years younger than Woody in the way he carries himself and the energy he has. Talk about a culture change and a jolt of energy into the program. He'd have us winning year 1 with the NIL resources we have.
  23. I know football has been doing it here and there, but the bison needs to officially be brought back...it's the best.
  24. I just keep coming back to one word...stale. IU Basketball is just stale and has been for way too long. No Buzz, No energy, No life... Get rid of the king, IUBB needs a revolution and a new leader to inject life into this dying program.
  25. I will be tuning in tonight...don't know much about him, but Hoosier Trav's write-up and a couple article have me intrigued...
