I’m just ready for the Edey era to be over. Kid is good, dominant. No denying that. But every drop step he lowers his shoulder, hip checks on every screen, and fouls on most rebounds. If you block him out and he comes over the top, you get whistled. Gets away with murder IMO. Also Throws his hands up and yells at the refs if anyone breathes on him and he doesn’t get a call. Please let it end haha.

I agree, wild hire given prior history of his dad and where they started their search. But there is a contingent of UofL fans that would absolutely love this. -

Have a lot of friends from Louisville, all well connected families to the program. About a week ago I received a text from one along the lines of, “I’d be happy with Richard Pitino, and that’s it”. -

Wishful thinking....butttttt, his Instagram post doesn't specifically say he is entering the draft...just thanks everyone at IU, including THE GREATEST FANS IN THE WORLD and has a nice highlight reel...maybe he will still come back?!?!?! Maybe?!?! All kidding aside, Happy for him, glad we got him for a year. Really hope he lands with a team that will have patience and let him continue to develop. His skill set is special, and it was a joy to watch him play. -

Not what I’m asking. If a coach is told there is $6 million in NIL funds available, I assume he would have a say in how that is allocated. Not fully up on NIL, guess I just assumed it was at the coaches discretion how it was dished out. -

I don’t know the answer, so I’m asking… Would the head coach not have a say in how NIL funds are allocated? -
Is Billy Gillispie still the coach at Tarleton?

Wild...if you are sending someone death threats about accepting a job to coach your favorite sports team...you need some serious help and a life. -
And then one clutch one to send it to OT!!!

The path is there for them…sadly. Play like this and I’m not sure anyone can beat them.

Purdue is…rolling. Sheesh.

I can’t help it…I’m just not a fan.

Danny Wolf for Yale struggling. Had some nice moves, just not able to finish. Where did the idea of us having "interest" in him come from? Just guessing, or actually rumored? -

First time watching Blackmon, fun player. Wonder if he will stay at Stetson? -
So neither IU or Purdue recruited Barnhizer?

I picked BYU. Just saw that Lebron sent Duquense shoes and gear...playing inspired.

Who from IU will get swiped? -
I will be interested to see if Woody and staff target kids with multiple years of eligibility remaining, or focus on single year kids...IMO target too many single year and even with success next year, you are right back to where you are currently the following off-season. Especially if we see further attrition this year beyond what has been discussed on here (mgbako, cupps, reneau, etc. leaving), with additional departures possible/likely the following year as well. Obviously you want the best available, but would hope the staff is thinking about roster management from that perspective when hitting the portal. Would much rather land multi year kids vs having to play the portal lottery for a bunch of roster spots each year.

That’s enough to throw my “opinion” about Dusty out the window haha. I didn’t watch them last year minus the tourney, and like I said, only a couple times this year. -

No, that was the guy that had an assistant on his staff say we need to improve but it’s “not much” and say his offense worked, we just didn’t make enough shots. -

Interesting. Did the league as a whole improve? They brought back almost the entire roster, correct? If OSU does hire Diebler (crazy to think he’s coached that team into the position to be offered the head job) Louisville would seem more and more likely unless Michigan makes a run at him. My Louisville friends would be pumped. -

This is all true. Thank you for pointing that out. Wasn’t trying to make a case against Dusty or saying he won’t be a success where he goes next, I just haven’t been as impressed as other I guess with the games I’ve watched so far. Wish I could have watched them more though this year, every game I’ve caught has been one of their losses. -

I think I’ve just picked bad games to watch them maybe. I haven’t been impressed. They went like 6+ minutes in this game without a bucket.
