  1. I also don’t understand how the tide turned in the media so drastically, only to have this dropped today.
  2. Wellllllllppppppp, that stinks if true. Scared to see how ugly this gets. I live in Arizona, some good basketball in my backyard with GCU and Tucson not far. That’s the positive for me haha.
  3. Respectfully, come on what? Did you miss the part in my post that you quoted where I clarified him using those exact words with..."kind of", and noted that he used "was" vs. "is" in the quotes, or the following posts where I agreed with btownqb that he didn't state "it is" his dream job but that he toed the line as close as you can get in all of the pre-game media? I agree with you that no coach can say that, at least publicly...but BP still loves him some Indiana and he went above and beyond to make that known with his comments before we played them.
  4. Agreed...he cannot come out and say that, at least not publicly. I think the line he walked in all of the pre-game media was as close as you can get.
  5. I made this edit to my post just before you replied, see my post. Thought you were arguing he had never made a comment that IU would be a dream job for him, see you are making the point that he has not been quoted saying IU "IS my dream job". But one could argue, if it was his dream job then, it likely is still his dream job now. BP loves him some Indiana.
  6. No dog in this fight, but in this article he's quoted saying those exact words, kind of...says "was" vs. "is" - https://www.si.com/college/indiana/basketball/my-two-cents-for-auburn-coach-bruce-pearl-indiana-was-my-dream-job "Indiana was my dream job, it really was,'' Pearl told me. "I love everything about Indiana basketball, really loved and admired Coach Knight as a young coach myself, and it's one of the great programs in America. "The timing was never right, I suppose. I guess, what, I was at Tennessee and really enjoying that and I love Auburn now. So nothing ever really aligned, but it would have been a dream come true to coach Indiana. That's how much I love and respect that program.''
  7. I think he has already started that PR Campaign. The media tide has shifted very noticeably over the last week.
  8. Keep your religion out of my basketball!!! Only thing I want to worship is winning!
  9. I think I'd stroke out on the spot if those news tickers came across my screen, right next to "Indiana gives Woodson nod for 4th year"....
  10. Now I’m just asking…. Win the next two, and two in the BTT…do we move the needle enough for us to be on the bubble?
  11. The Hoosiers are going to pull it off. Always time to change your mind Queen haha
  12. Been a fun half so far. Is this the X Woody thinks about before bed each night? I think it is haha.
  13. He was definitely using that off arm on wares chest
  14. Were those videos paired from a separate tweet that he just retweeted, or did he have to intentionally embed both of those videos into his tweet?
  15. I'm pretty positive several of us had the pleasure of playing against each other many moons ago ha-ha. I was All-State Warm-Up Team during my varsity days.
  16. Hey!!! There’s only room for one scammer around these parts! I saw him first, scram!
  17. Oh come on, what about your name and address and….maybe tease us with the last 4 of your social! Oh heck, Go ahead and toss in your preferred financial institution…and also your birthday, first dogs name and favorite color. all just because I’m curious of course…ignore the calls and texts from your bank later though, probably just spam.
  18. I’ve been vocal that I’m not happy with the state of the program or Woodson…ideally, I want us to make a change and hire a coach that makes us a serious program again… But that game was fun to watch. Kids competed from the opening tip, and Woodson coached a good game. Haven’t seen him that fired up and animated all year.
