  1. Sage Steel and ESPN settled their lawsuit in 2023...I highly doubt they are going to bring her back. Mellencamp was just back for Big Noon kickoff. I think Joe Buck and newly initiated IU Fan Boy Troy Aikman would be fun. My guess is that it will be Schwarber. No political baggage, well known, good personality and a somewhat recent grad.
  2. Open the checkbook. Do everything possible to keep this man in Bloomington. The sharks will be circling in the water to get a piece of him with his history and what he’s doing here. It really is remarkable. I just hope the chance to build IU into a consistent contender is the challenge he continues to seek…and maybe it will be. He’s a chip on the shoulder type of guy, and everyone told him it couldn’t be done here.
  3. I thought that they weren’t doing the skills stuff this year and were just scrimmaging? Could have sworn I read that…could also be losing my mind. It’s a toss up.
  4. No problem, and your point still stands. Having Pete around IU as an alumni + the connection to the Cooks is a positive for IU in terms of NIL, resources, etc. IMO. I can also guarantee I'd swap my net worth with Pete's any day, even if it's not a billion dollars haha.
  5. Bill (RIP) and his wife Gayle, and now their son Carl, are billionaires. Carl being the richest man in Indiana at an estimated $10.7 billion. The other 2 in the state are Irsay and Simon. Pete does very well I am sure in his top spot with Cook, and is actively involved in IU Sports and NIL Collectives alongside the Cooks, but I don't believe he is anywhere near a billionaire.
  6. Hoosiers - 24 Cornballs - 17 Bye week, well rested, no self imposed limitations, packed rock...come on boys.
  7. Just read that he was the backup, and came in essentially for the last couple drives, as the starter got hurt. Once he came in they marched, along with their defense forcing two fumbles. Wild. I would of thought he had the tools to start at that level. I remember at one point trying to mental gymnastics myself into thinking he could lead our team moving forward haha.
  8. I don't follow that account...is it satire? What warrants IU at 22 haha.
  9. Come on...spill the beans. What else may be coming out and by whom?
  10. I don't wish jail on anyone, but that is interesting if true. EDIT: With a quick google search, the ON3 website has Hoosier Hysterics Collective listed as an LLC under "status", where the Hoosier Connect Collective on the same site is listed as a Non Profit.
  11. I never got to attend one, but had heard positive things about them. In a world where Woody doesn't need their NIL money anymore, I am not surprised they landed here. Hoosier Hysterics though could have put out a press release, said it was canceled due to unforeseen conflicts, and possibly worked their way back into favor. It's not like Dolson or Woody were putting PR out detailing the "why" behind it...they are driving the nail into their coffin by doing this. I always wondered if the Athletic department worried if this event stole some thunder from Hoosier Hysteria. Which in full disclosure, I really think they need to revamp. I loyally went year after year before moving, and it had gotten very stale.
  12. If true, Woody calling Dane Fife "Dan" made me chuckle.
  13. I'm at about 36 minutes into the interview...and I am very surprised Eric is giving this much detail and color around his meeting with Woody...if they weren't cut off before, they surely are now haha.
  14. I think it is very likely someone will offer him more immediate PT than we can provide with our current roster makeup...I would love to have him join, develop and play a big role next year, but not sure that's the role he'd be looking for or willing to accept. But hey...kick the tires baby, we've got a spot.
  15. My predictions based on absolutely nothing other than looking at games on the schedule. Year 1, with a lot of roster movement, new system, new league for the coaches, etc., I think 6 wins and a bowl game would be a win overall. FIU - Win W. Ill - Win UCLA - Loss Charlotte - Win Maryland - Win Northwestern - Loss Nebraska - Loss Washington - Loss MSU - Win Michigan - Loss OSU - Loss Purdue - Win Total - 6 wins.
  16. Best top to bottom roster we have had in Bloomington in a long, long time. The level of increase in talent on the floor for us next year is huge. What I think this roster has the talent to do...Big Ten Title, deep BTT run and an Elite 8 or better. The pieces are all there...on paper. Excited to see how it plays out.
  17. Dikembe's son. From other posters, apparently he is not very good at basketball. Should be a hard pass.
  18. I did not see him ending up at...George Mason. I know he visited Indiana and Florida State, sure he had other big names looking at him. Interesting move for sure.
  19. I tell everyone visiting that area...if you have time go walk amongst the old growth redwoods. Not really going to itch any serious hikers itch, but that Place is magical.
  20. Those Georgetown teams have been pretty bad...hard pass. Hoping we can land the Monmouth kid.
  21. Gotcha. Not the trends we are looking for.
  22. I've never watched him play. Looking at his recruiting profile, he had a decent list of Power 5 offers. 4 star recruit, number 17 center in his class., 119 overall. When you say terrible...how terrible we talking haha.
