  1. In the past, or at other programs, is it typically announced that the player has been released from their LOI? I guess I haven't ever really noticed or paid attention if that occurs.
  2. I also asked this very politely several pages back, as I am genuinely curious...haven't seen a response yet.
  3. I’d welcome Trey Townsend from Oakland with open arms if he wanted to take a step up…not in the portal, but this kid can hoop….milwuakee has no answer for him
  4. If you've answered this, apologies, too many pages to keep up with. Honestly asking, do you have first hand knowledge of this, or just speaking on what you have gathered, read, etc.? Your posts read as if you have intimate knowledge on the inner workings of the current college basketball landscape and what programs are dealing with, especially here at IU. I speak only to my opinions/thoughts, etc., but your posts have a different confidence to them that implies a different level of insight. Just curious.
  5. Knew he had been hurt back to back seasons, was just curious. 6'5 guards don't grow on trees, surprised he couldn't find a landing spot where he would actually get to play.
  6. This is off topic, but I am curious if anyone can provide some light on this.. What is the scoop on Jordan Rayford? Know he has been hurt back to back seasons. Went to Airforce for a year over offers from Maine and Old Dominion. Nothing exciting with those offers, but D1 offers none the less...Doesn't seem like your traditional walk on, curious as to why he ended up here vs. trying to get a spot at a lower level school. Surely someone, somewhere could use a 6'5 guard.
  7. Make March Fun Again...just win baby!
  8. I think it likely didn't leak at the time because things were still going okay and most everyone was still on Woody's side...things start to go down hill and lips start to move. I also think it is likely that Woodson got his name wrong, but I do find it hard to believe that he just didn't know who he was. Those are two completely different things, and if he actually didn't know who Love was, yikes. Getting his name wrong would also mirror the "rumors" about him getting Flory's name wrong. I mean hell, I can barely get my kids names right half the time, and my parents and grandparents called me everything but my name on multiple occasions growing up. Could be as innocent as that... Do I think there is some truth to these "rumors", yes...but do I think there is some embellishment or bad telephone going on as its repeated, also yes.
  9. If he continues to have a solid showing in the BTT and NIT (if we accept), I think he's played himself into a second round pick. The question will be, how bad does he want to be a pro, and can the NIL money convince him to come back and try to move into the first round next year.
  10. I agree. Just trying to understand what about those two resumes warrants a 70+ difference in NET, and a 9 seed projected for them haha.
  11. I need someone smarter than me to explain the net disparity between us and MSU, when we literally have the same resume now…they are 4 spots ahead on SOS, both have 4 quad 1 wins. Im not saying we should be in, but why do the metrics love them so much.
  12. Good coaches make adjustments at half…
  13. Looking at that graphic they showed, I still don’t understand how we have the same resume as MSU, will be identical if we beat them today, and they are a 9 seed and we are out. SOS only 4 a part also… Someone help that make sense for me.
  14. I have had some time to sleep and think...and cool down. I still think we need a change, but that change isn't happening... Now, I am not saying by any means he is going to be able to have success, but the reality now is that he's coming back. I've accepted it, and I am going to do my best to shift my energy towards being hopeful that he can figure it out vs. hoping he doesn't and the direction of this program nose dives. I'd much rather spend next year celebrating wins vs. watching the house burn. For a fan that only follows IU basketball and football, my team is on the floor. I can't help but wish for the best and be optimistic, and regardless of how annoyed my wife is, I will continue to watch.
  15. Twitter is truly is another world...I stay away as much as possible. I do wonder now though how much the "everyone is leaving if Woodson is back" rumors were true. The team we have seen the last couple games, and especially last night, didn't seem like one that has checked out with each other or their coach. If anything, they looked more together last night than they have all year. I think we will most likely see transfers from a couple not seeing the floor (Gunn, Banks), but I guess if anything I remain hopeful that we can retain reneau, mgbako and cupps, bring in Mcneeley and try to build around that in the portal. I just want a fun year of college basketball darnit.
  16. Ware's Instagram story after the win last night is the Photo of Woodson with his tongue out from the radio show the other day. I'd say the team is aware of the noise about their coach haha.
  17. If there was ever a year for us to win the big ten tourney...this strange year would be it haha.
  18. I’ll give him credit, he helps us push pace as well. I’ve noticed the last 3 games we’ve really been pushing the ball, from the tip.
  19. What does 12 vs like 15-17 do for net…we needed that win to be by as much as possible.
  20. I will say…this doesn’t seem like a team that’s given up on their coach…
  21. Just no awareness there…give Garcia the layup, we need you on the floor. And it was blatantly clear he fouled.
  22. Malik…ware has 3…maybe don’t swipe down at that layup dudeeeee
  23. God I hate that so much for Walker. Don’t know what a timeline looks like on a hyper extension.
