I get what you are saying, and I don't have a problem with it. I am an eternal optimist so I just can't do it. In my mind if my team is 0-20 and finally wins a game I want to believe they have turned things around and will win the next 20 lol

I have read the same, really unfortunate. I am hoping the staff has realized what that means for style of play and lack of success (not getting hopes up). Best case scenario is Queen commits and plays a role like Reneau did his freshman year.

Def. don't want to devalue what Schertz has done at ISU. Seems like a rising star. But to compare his three seasons at ISU to Dusty's first four at FAU isn't appropriate. One had the transfer portal to start, the other did not. Dusty built FAU from the ground up without any facilities, NIL, or having the ability to turn over a roster immediately. I understand there are no sure things in mid major coaches jumping to power conference, but what Dusty has done is next level impressive.

53-8 (26-3) with a final four, conference championship, conference tournament championship since the start of last season. Never had a losing season at a school that only had one winning season in the decade before he got there. Why are people so down on Dusty? Why is he Archie Miller, as I have seen so many say? Why is he not Brad Stevens? Really curious. I get wanting a proven winner from a power conference. That would be my wish, just not sure that coach is out there other than Pearl or Beard (no thanks imo) and I don't see IU hiring them. I don't see Scott Drew leaving Baylor.

You could sub. out Woody and IU for literally any NBA coach/alum coming back to coach in college and it still be true. They do not understand the time commitment and I can't think of one who has succeeded in college. It's also the reason college coaches who are successful in the NBA don't come back. It is written and discussed ad nauseum by CBB writers and pundits and the administration still chose to go this route.

I feel like both sides got their wish last search. We got Woody to please the “we need an IU guy” portion of the fanbase and former players. He stinks. We made Brad Stevens say no to appease the other half clamoring for that to happen. Which we all knew he would, and it ultimately led us to woody…yeesh. Now that both of those are out of the way let’s get the best coach we can, preferably a coach other schools want to hire ( prob too much to ask for though I know)

Apparently Trilly just stated that some prominent boosters are starting to get noisy. I really don't think it happens this year even though it should, but it will get interesting nonetheless.

In my career, I deal with this very very often. Do you want him to explicitly say black people can't read to call it racism? Or is that still stereotyping? Implicit bias is unintentional and unaware. You will be hard pressed to get me to believe that comment fits that bill

Questioning whether an african american player can read is pretty obviously racist. Doubt they make that comment if it were Trey Galloway or Miller Kopp
