    Shaka is the only one comparable to Dusty. John Groce's resume was putrid and Lickliter carried on what was already built at Butler. And Shaka didn't meet expectations at Texas, but has it ROLLING at another high profile basketball school.

    So true. HOWEVER, that play on Sunday where X threw it ahead to him and he was triple teamed under the basket, but still scored with the foul. That was pretty impressive.

    No way that they announce BP as IU's coach until Auburn's season is finished. Until then it will be pure speculation and rumors. Unless IU brings woody back of course.

    IU hasn't lost at the barn since 2019 (Romeo's season) and have won 3 straight. I think we are due for a loss...

    Some guy on Peegs is raising hell that Quinn's influence in this is unethical given his relationship to woody and position on the BOT. He is trying all he can to get it out there. Tend to agree with him.

    Yeah it is an intriguing strategy, but Woody still coaches like it's 1990. Other programs will be fighting hard for the top portal players as well, and they have all the ammo they need to recruit against Woody. I just don't see top players coming here to play for him and his style, regardless of our NIL bank.

    I mean it's been brewing in some fashion since Knight was let go. Too many voices who feel they need to be heard. And the fans have suffered because of it.

    Quinn Buckner was appointed in 2016. IU has had maybe its worst 8 year stretch of basketball since. hmmmm.....

    I agree. I am cautiously optimistic, expecting to see Woody again next year. I think for me the fact that Rabby has been explicitly stating Bruce Pearl is more than interested does make it more plausible than situations in the past. Not that he knows all, but for all the crap Rabby takes, he is more than cautious with the information he passes along.
