  1. Not to be that guy, but do we really want one though…. #tankforchange
  2. He also kept Clif Marshall
  3. I have come to terms with the fact that woody will be here another year, so I agree it is time to look to the offseason with some hope as we do have a chance to have a more talented roster (if some pieces come back.) Although, the first time rabby or trilly say that we are going after a Jalen Deloach/Anthony Walker type, I am going to lose my mind.
  4. I’m sure that is being said. I doubt anyone truly believes it, they just allow themselves to so they don’t have to admit the total catastrophe this season has been. And they don’t want to take responsibility, which gives me no hope for next year.
  5. LOL... a lot more than not at all really isn't that hard to do
  6. Reports that Holtmann to be fired as soon as today.
  7. He needs to bring in an assistant to revamp the offense. Unfortunately that would require him to admit he isn't getting it done, and also would require him to listen to someone who isn't part of his entourage.
  8. Unless things drastically change, we will be having this discussion for quite some time. So, in your opinion what does Woody need to do in the next year to keep his job beyond year 4? Year 1: 21-14 (9-11) Round of 64 Year 2: 23-12 (12-8) Round 32 Year 3: 14-10 (6-7) TBD (kinda) Year 4: ?? Kenpom (offense/defense) Year 1: 48 (95/24) Year 2: 30 (28/45) Year 3: 97 (108/92) Year 4: ?? '24 Recruits: Liam McNeeley Hasn't signed a single high school player from Indiana during his tenure (CJ Gunn was already committed). Hasn't signed a guard in 27 months.
  9. You have confidence in Woody to get it done this offseason, that is fine. A lot of us, given the first three years on the job, do not. It has been 27 months since he landed a guard. 27. Liam is not a 2. If the staff thinks he is, oh boy. I think IU will get some good portal additions no doubt, but Woody is sitting here in February saying our team is still getting to know each other. Why would that be different next year with the same if not more roster additions than this past year? That's not an excuse. It is BS.
  10. I am guessing you don't believe in Kenpom, bart torvik, and the likes? They tell a very different story. The Big Ten, including IU, is GARBAGE this year.
  11. Rabby mentioned he was told it was because Woody had other obligations on his schedule. So yeah..
  12. You can argue that, but nobody would take you serious. Wins against Arizona, Butler, VaTech (BY 34), Texas A&M. Won their early season MTE. Currently 19-5 and 9-2 in conference with a much stronger schedule than last year. But go ahead, argue away.
  13. I think you are right. But who could blame him
  14. Goodman has been the loudest critic of Woody from the beginning, rightfully so. So it goes both ways
  15. Not if Trent is signed somewhere else.
  16. I think you missed the point where I said I feared what would happen if we didn't make a move this year. Sisley and Mullins are '25 recruits and will be deciding this summer/fall. If things continue and the bottom falls out and Woody continues to half-@$$ recruiting, they very well could commit and sign elsewhere. If IU hires either of those guys after next year Sisley and Mullins aren't going to ask out of their LOI two months before they go on campus somewhere else. That's some crimson colored thinking if you believe they would.
  17. But hey lets pat ourselves on the back for being the top three in most profitable athletic departments. Why are we profitable again? it's not a for profit entity. SPEND IT ALL
  18. Mick Cronin has had a brutal year at UCLA, word is because of lack of NIL support. He is from the Midwest, and if we went with a proven winner he would be my pick. 52 years old and has won big at both UC and UCLA.
  19. Yes, of course. But if you think one of those two guys are who you want to lead your program, it has to go into the decision making process. I agree on the recruits, but it is the best in-state class in some time that could give a new coach a foundation to build on. Especially considering Woody hasn't necessarily done the best job in cultivating relationships with the in-state schools and recruits like Shrews and Painter currently have.
  20. He has already lost the fans. Nearly impossible to come back from that, especially at 66 years old. My fear is Dolson knows he isn't the guy but won't pull the trigger after three years, so waits for a fourth. Next year is more of the same and they let him go. By then IU has missed out on their top two realistic candidates in May and Schertz who have taken other jobs, and the '25 class of Mullins, Sisley, and Robinson (among others) have all decided to play for the other state schools knowing that IU stinks. Yippee
  21. Not that I disagree with him, but doesn't most of his info come from the staff? Like did he ask them if they thought they were getting fired? Of course they said no chance lol
  22. Hoosier hystERIC says no chance.
  23. It’s really bad. Imagine if the big ten was at least average this year…
  24. My goodness, Woody is too stinking lazy... now he is sending his players to recruit for him. DWS
