  1. And the fighting Juwan Howard's at 3-16.
  2. I thought about this as well, and it makes sense to me. It also makes sense that Pearl would do it to pressure Auburn into raise, facility improvements, etc. So, could be either one, both make sense.
  3. We have had two of the best rim protectors the last two years and Woody acts like we have Collin Hartman playing center again. Overhelping on drives and post-ups for three years.
  4. I’m guessing they would move on from woody though before that right? Don’t figure they would string along staff and players.
  5. Yeah I can’t imagine they wouldn’t let woody go/announce a retirement until the end of march. Would be right after BTT. Now the new hire could for sure be almost a month depending on who it is.
  6. I actually miss Tim Miles. Loved his halftime tweets
  7. Glad to have you, thanks for the post!
  8. I read that as it depends on if Dolson can get Brucie locked up over these next few weeks :)
  9. Did Trilly really say that Woody's fate will be decided by how these next few games play out...? This was relayed on Peegs so I do not know the exact quote or context from Trilly. Edit: Looks like Trilly stated these last few weeks (not games) will play a factor in the decision, but not be the deciding factor.
  10. Why do we feel like woody is back today? Because of the field of 68 article? Something else?
  11. Makes too much sense. That place would be juiced.
  12. Also, Mullin's dad liked a tweet asking where the IU coaches were last night. Just unreal
  13. I didn't see one. When Rabby refuted it he said now things could change, but at that moment he didn't expect any coaches there.
  14. A poster on Peegs posted midday yesterday that Woody was expected to be at Trent's game, along with Painter. Rabby refuted it, saying he didn't expect any coaches to be there. Well later on obviously Painter showed up and Woody did not. That same poster said he talked to the same source at the game who told him Woody was expected, and the source told him IU reached out earlier in the week saying they would be there and then essentially ghosted. Really odd if true...
  15. Yes he did. He went and visited Mullins and Sisley last month for the first time all season while other head coaches were routinely making the trip. When it was reported, rabby didn't explicitly say that it was because Woody was told to go see them, but it was pretty clear that was the case if you read between the lines.
  16. Yeah I guess that is what I was getting at. Him being told to go recruit was the first thing that came to mind. Was just curious if you were hearing Dolson sees that side of it more so than the results on the court.
  17. Most of Woody's supporters look at 2 tournaments in first 2 years as reason he should get another year. Really just a surface level argument. Have you heard much about Dolson's feelings on how Woody is doing in other aspects of the Job? Because that is where a lot of issues lie, not just the bad results this year. I could get over (eventually) this year if Woody was crushing it in every other aspect of the job. But he is failing imo, at just about all of it.
  18. Last night was not a recipe for sustained success. The game IU plays has such a small margin for error. Wisconsin took 22 more shots, had 9 less turnovers, however only took 3 free throws. IU had to play a perfect game to win, just not something that can be expected. It is why we see IU lose big and win small. Nothing will change.
  19. I am beginning to think that Trayce Jackson Davis taking Woody to back-back tournaments is the greatest accomplishment in the history of this program. my goodness this is embarrassing
  20. Woody was fired from the knicks after three seasons when he made the playoffs the first two seasons. He made a late run and lost in the first round in year one. He finished second in conference and made it to the second round in year two. Then the wheels completely fell off in year three when he had more control over the roster and playing time. He was let go. Hoping this is exactly how it plays out here soon.
  21. Heck I'd name the university after him. I want to win in football SO BAD
  22. this absolutely PISSED ME OFF. Most of the game was pretty comical, just like all other games this season. I didn't care that we missed more free throws than we made, let them hit 9 threes in one half, turned it over all game, etc. We have been doing that all year and for the last three years. But when he lost it on Trey who plays every single minute with 1000% effort I wanted to throw something. You put him in that position and then blame him?! Utter embarrassment
  23. only three more weeks until change happens (hopefully)
  24. Since the Iowa game we have been down a least 15 points in each game (5 games). Hell, we blew a 15ish point lead in that game. We have seen a lot of bad IU basketball over the years, not sure we have seen it this bad. Especially considering the rest of the league is absolute dog poop. This hump isn't getting smaller, it's getting much much bigger.
