  1. Thank you, you I said it much better than I did.
  2. I want conwell and am not one saying rice can’t shoot. Rice did struggle from deep, which is why putting him next to KC who also struggles from deep worries me. yes I get conwell improved and had a much better sophomore year, but not everyone does. So not sure why that argument is the end all be all here
  3. On my phone or I would post his Bart torvik page. let’s just say, lots of green. offensive rating of 120 is something impressive
  4. I would be surprised if Tucker gets 25 min. Mgbako started last year and only played 27 because he had to. If we get a starter quality guard they will eat into that 16 min between leal and cupps as well. edit: just saw btown beat me to it
  5. I think if we get conwell and any of the other three we are in great shape and expectations will be as high as ever, rightfully so
  6. I agree with everything you said. I will say, I believe they are going hard after conwell. A visit is likely and they are trying to schedule it. He is also my top choice, but the way things have played out might make him tough to get despite the mutual interest.
  7. Trying to be as cautious as I can…. but I am pretty pumped with this one.
  8. DIII transfer from DePauw? Didn't realize he still had eligibility.
  9. Trying to not turn this into a woody discussion. But imo the one thing I am confident in Woody is that he can manage egos. The way he handled Ke'el this year was actually impressive. He was so hard on him and it worked. Getting Malik and Mack to return after this year was impressive. Getting Trayce to come back both years, impressive. And I know I know, NIL helps, but you still see top guys leaving big programs who have money. Woody can manage talents and egos. The issue is, until it isn't, his system. BRING ON RICE, CONWELL, BALLO, AND HICKMAN
  10. AND the same amount of tourney wins as Woody when he was hired. LOLOLOLOLOL
  11. Really surprising. Really underwhelming honestly. I am sure he could do well there. But to push out Cal for a guy who has won 63% of his games over 9 seasons, we will see.
  12. He is also planning to visit UNC and Florida. UNC is also in on Aaron Bradshaw so that could play into this as well
  13. Yeah that's not good. But free throw % indicates that he could get to low-mid 30's on high volume.
  14. PAC 12 freshman of the year. 1st team all league. His advanced analytics have been shared multiple times. He’s good, probably very good
  15. True. But I am betting he could get some workouts. Enough teams will be involved, he isn’t going to be a back up.
  16. He most definitely is not coming to be a backup. He is really trying to get workouts with NBA teams and a combine invite, would be silly to come back to college to get back-up minutes especially with the schools involved.
  17. That would be interesting. But Jim Coyle has been pretty anti-woody from what I remember. I haven't listened to him since the season ended but he wasn't too high on Indiana basketball this year.
  18. How so...? He is the only player that has been singled out in a not so positive manner. Of course he is trying to push him to be better, but he hasn't done so with anybody else.
  19. I also think this is the second comment he has made regarding DMac. Last week he singled McCulley out and said he needed to pick it up when discussing the WR room. This week he said there are a few guys that Indiana fans think are players, who came out with the old Indiana mindset. Obviously he could have been talking about someone else, but my first thought was McCulley.
  20. Right. And like I said above, it's boiler plate language for any coaching contract that really has no effect at all. I know this was in Crean's and Archie's and i am betting it is in Woody's too.
  21. My point is that contract term is useless. It is most likely boiler plate. Cal either leaves and goes to Arkansas and nobody owes anyone any money. He stays and coaches next year at UK. Or he tries to stay and they end up negotiating a settlement and parting ways and Cal gets another job.
  22. And there is no buyout on UK's side if he decides to leave.
