    He is leaving. UK isn't going to pay any buyout. The only buyout to be paid would be on his side. So him not telling them doesn't make any difference.

    Yeah I am not saying we won't get him. I just don't think we could get him if our pitch is to come here and back up Malik.

    Would be interesting to see what he is looking for. I am guessing he left Minnesota because Dawson Garcia chose to stick around another year. That was going to cut into his playing time. Not sure he would come here, further away from home, to be the back up. Just my opinion though

    @Trish you didn't hear? Mike Woodson and Kenny Payne are in serious talks to become CO-Head coaches for UK.

    SIAP, but there were rumors of issues with the NCAA coming. Not sure that should scare anyone away as nothing will happen, but that was the rumor. Also, he was wearing on key people around the program so the working relationship wasn't in a great place I believe. Agree though, it is a better job than USC.

    Bart torvik player pages for Rice, JHS, and X. Although Rice has the lowest 3% of the three, he appears to be much more well rounded statistically than JHS and X. And again, only a sophomore eligibility wise.

    Well...since teams are allowed to score 3 points at a time while we are only allowed to score 2, we should be allowed an extra player to make it fair.

    Maybe. I do know that his assist rate this year of 20.3 is higher than any of TJD's first three years. TJD's senior season his assist rate was 24.3 for comparison. Malik's assist rate was second highest on the team this year. Trey was first at 25.6 Malik's freshman year his assist rate was 9.6, so huge improvement in one year. Would guess he could still improve.

    He has potential, but his advanced analytics are not great.

    I understand this, but I really don't think Hickman is even close to being alone in wanting them to change their offense. Recruits, fans, media are all harping on it. It is way more of a Woody problem than this particular recruit's problem. Just where we are at.

    Turned on the McDonald's AA scrimmage and it's going down to the wire. First sequence I watch is Queen getting doubled in the post and kicking it out to a wide open McNeeley for a...wedgie. Couldn't help but smile.

    I am not on social media but I hear he has some interesting IUBB followers. We need NGW to give us a thorough analysis on this. Wasn't NGW our resident social media analyzer? Or am I thinking of someone else?

    He played his senior year at Bishop O'Connell. But yes, he did not play AAU.
