Gotcha. I think there have been times where the shots at woody have derailed legitimate discussion in other threads and that’s what gets annoying. Just because we want to discuss a player and how much we want them at IU does not equal wanting woody back. It’s just reality that he will be back. Is it okay to want Woodson gone yesterday, but still be excited about the potential players coming in next year? Who gives a rats you know what about how much we pay them. It’s been happening for decades. I won’t speak for social media because it’s a dreadful place. I’m not on it. But for message boards, it appears everyone is still anti-woody, but intrigued by roster potential next year.

I see Leland as an upgrade to Cupps. Which I am perfectly okay with and it makes a ton of sense. Wouldn't be surprised if the staff grabs three guards and Cupps decides to transfer. However, If the staff thinks he is the starting PG, then yes we have bigger problems. I am more than concerned with roster construction and talent evaluation with this staff. I have very low expectations, but there are 7 spots to fill and we aren't getting 7 Caleb Love's/Ke'el Ware's.

I think trey does, but imo Cupps wouldn't have been close. I am confident he wouldn't have averaged 9ppg as a freshman at EKU like walker did.

But the stats are pretty comparable for the first two years at a lower league from an offensive standpoint. Again, not saying this will be Leland's projection, but just thought it was interesting. When Tyson jumped to the big ten his rating actually increased on less usage.
