I expect the team to be about as excited about this game as the fans. Not expecting a great effort but still win by 40

I would discount it if the same things with the some of the same players weren’t happening.

It goes back to the way IU lost in each of those games. The team looked to have the same issues as it has the past few years. Maybe you expected it, but I did not expect to lose to Rutgers, Arizona, and Kansas by a combined 51 points.

four losses to NW..... YIKES Before the BTT Illinois won 4 in a row. Once underwood got it rolling, they have def had the upper hand and IU hasn't finished above them in the standings since 2019 2-7 against OSU since Holtmann took over.

Lol you know who else has IU’s number? 1. Purdue 2. Illinois 3. Michigan 4. Michigan State 5. Wisconsin 6. Iowa 7. Penn State 8. Maryland 9. Ohio State 10. Northwestern havent had a winning record in the big ten since 2016. Haven’t won 3 in a row in conference play since Romeo Langford was on the team. Dismissing the Rutgers performance because they have our number is interesting. Basically the entire big ten “has our number” no the sky isn’t falling, but there are plenty of reasons to be concerned

Trying not to overreact to the Kansas loss. But following the display at Rutgers and the way this team looked in the first half against Arizona makes it difficult not to think another losing big ten season is on the horizon

Yeah the scheduling is bonkers. A lot of those teams will play a second game right around new years, whereas IU has already played two so won't play again until January 5th.

I said after UNC it was nice to have a well coached team. blame me, because this team is not well coached. Really disappointed with where they are as a team

Tennessee's ability to guard the wing is probably the best in the country. Jalen gets a lot of points as an athletic wing scorer, which we really struggle to defend. Especially if it draws Race, JG, guarding out there

Okay? Kansas is 9-1. Guess what happened in that 1 loss? Tennessee slowed him way down and he went 3-15 from the floor. Tennessee had the guys to do it, IU does not. And therefore, I would be very surprised if we win

I hope JHS is back and Tamar Bates from Arizona and Nebraska shows up. I have no idea how IU will slow down Jalen Wilson, he is the prototypical player that has given this team fits

It's tricky. The charges will unlikely be dropped immediately just because the victim/complainant wants them to be. Prosecutors take Domestic cases very seriously because of what I mentioned above, the issue is they have to prove it. Normally the only witness is the victim. So, if the victim refuses to testify then their usually isn't a case and it gets dismissed. There are other ways to prove a domestic case, but that gets into the legal weeds.

yes, daughter's bf wouldn't make sense given the domestic charge. Also makes sense why Beard's attorney came out and said the complainant wanted him released immediately. Domestic issues are so scary in that the victim gets abused and reaches out for help but then recants the story so their partner can come home. And the cycle continues. NOT SAYING THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED HERE, JUST WHAT HAPPENS A LOT IN DOMESTIC SITUATIONS.

Assault on a family member would include blood relation, romantic relationship, or household member. So if it is the daughter's bf, he would have to live with them unless this was incorrectly charged
