Maybe something to watch, but Iowa plays a ton of junk defenses which caused IU fits last year. They have had some success with it the past year or so and has raised their defensive capabilities. That makes me a little nervous without a second ballhandler. So, Trey will probably still get a ton of run if they start pressing as Tamar doesn't give me a lot of confidence in that situation.

IU's profile entering REAL Big Ten play: NET: 18 Q1 - 2-3 Q2 - 0-0 Q3 - 1-0 Q4 - 7-0 NET SOS: 40 NET NON-CON SOS: 83 Nebraska is 87th in the NET at the moment, would need to be top 75 for that to be a Q2 win. Kennesaw State is 177th in the NET and would need to be top 160 for that to be a Q3 win. Minnesota is at 237th in the NET and flirting with Q4 game if they fall below 240. Michigan at home would be the only other game outside Q2 at the moment as they are 77th, but I would be shocked if they don't end up top 50 in the net and at least a Q2. January and February have been utterly exhausting and disappointing the last 6 seasons, here's to hoping we got that out of the way in December this season and make a run at the top of the Big ten! Go Hoosiers.

Yep they are a very typical Wisconsin team. It doesn't matter who they play, it's going to be a close game where they make less mistakes than the other team. Win by 3 at home to a terrible Minnesota team, lose by 1 to an elite Kansas team. Just fascinating The computers hate them, but they get the W most of the time.

Minnesota up 12-9 at the kohl center at the under 12 in the first half. I have no idea how Tyler Wahl averages 14 ppg. Great mystery to me.

With Tamar and JHS as the starting backcourt we get to see how the two 5*'s handle the big ten. It is definitely the most talented backcourt we have had in some time, but that in no way means more wins. Here's to hoping that it does though! 9 games in 26 days, buckle up.

And this is why I am worried. The past decade, and this group of players especially, has found every way possible to lose those types of games. Games where the IU is probably more talented, but just finds ways to lose due to bad culture
