I feel especially important now b/c I, too, can claim no connection between me and anything. I'm from Indiana, attended IU some time ago, and have a completely non-basketball job. I abandoned Facebook a while ago so my profile/feed makes no references to connections within the IU program. Some have even referred to me as a gambling expert that nobody knows.

For some good ol' fashioned American style pour over, I've been ordering from Philz Coffee in San Francisco. Jacob's Wonderbar is probably my favorite bean of all time for a regular coffee. Chemex pour over is my brewing mechanism of choice. But again, those cups are much fewer and farther between these days as I've gone full on espresso.

Oh man, I love this. I've converted almost exclusively to espresso drinks. Many years ago we took a trip to Italy and I never looked back. I wanted to get a nice espresso machine after that trip but my wife opted for a Nespresso b/c "a real espresso machine is something you'll use for 2 weeks and then it will just take up a bunch of space on the counter." She knows me well. The Nespresso served me well for about 6 years until recently she upgraded me to the Terra Kaffe TK-01. My go to drink is a Cortado. Shout out to Soma Cafe for making the best in B-town. The Terra Kaffe is as close to a barista quality Cortado I've ever had from somebody's home.

I'm only taking a stab here so I could be wrong, but my guess is this is as much of an Assembly Hall problem as it is a fans not wanting to come support the team problem. I've never been to Mackey but it appears to be significantly easier to navigate to uppermost parts of that arena. Sure, having a highly ranked team is a huge factor. But if we were ranked exactly where Purdue is, I suspect we'd still get a far less than full AH for teams like Nicholls State. The top 10 or so rows of the main level are barely worth it. The balcony is only a decent view if you're in the first few rows in the middle and even then the trek to get there is ridiculous. So the experience of actually being there is significantly diluted unless it's a marquee opponent.

It was too good to be true. Decided to splurge for great seats for this one but thankfully StubHub appears to have a great policy in place for Covid cancellations. Still gonna take in a few days in b-town though.

Should be noted that we’ve still only seen Jack Tuttle in: 1.) His very first collegiate start 2.) the bowl game where he played half the game with a separated throwing shoulder and after minimal bowl prep due to covid shut down 3.) playing behind an O-line that exactly zero QBs would look great behind Im not making a statement for or against the guy (though I can’t wait to see how many people take this as me advocating that he’s the answer at QB). Just saying it’s worth noting the circumstances he’s played in.
