That'd require knowing their names.

They weren't serious when they hired him, refusing to move on when they should've just cemented that. He doesn't have the track record or coaching ability to have that much of an ego.

Pretty much. He was a great player, but him being the coach is just looking worse.

Woke Armond Hill up from his nap, unacceptable.

It's not a lack of wanting, I have no doubts Woodson wants the program to succeed; he lacks the ability.

I was on a Teams meeting during work and the boss asked if anyone had anything worth talking about, a guy from Louisville said Indiana's football coach is worth talking about. -

I agree we need to give him a raise, along with his staff. How much of one for his first year in high major ball is the question. No doubt this year has exceeded even optimistic projections. 9 mil would have him in line with the likes of Kiffin and Stoops, only Lincoln Riley and Ryan Day making more in conference. 8 would be same as Cristobal at Miami, he'd be 4th in conference behind Riley/Day/Franklin. I could see going to 8 with an increase in staff pay, not sure I'd go higher than 9 maybe 9.5 though. Hopefully this year gets donors to add a good amount to NIL. -
When Washington scored to get within 3 it would've been easy for this team to pack it in and with Allen's teams it probably would've been a back breaker. The line adjusted and blocked better allowing Ellison to run all over the defense in the 2nd half, he runs with intent and it's great to watch. Jackson left some plays on the field but inconsistency with a backup QB with little game time is expected, he also showed some potential. Ponds showed out well, especially on that 2nd pick. Stayed glued to the receiver, turned his head, high pointed the ball and made the receiver try and play defense. I was at a family cookout watching and one of them is a pUKe fan, he saw a camera shot with the stands filled with red and asked if it ever looks like that and I said "no, not unless OSU fans are in town".

While IU sometimes has seasons where they win some games, this team is passing the eye test. They look well coached, they don't beat themselves with stupid penalties and mistakes, and the couple times they've actually been challenged they've responded. Washington had wind in their sails; a goal line stand to end the 2nd then got an INT and TD to start the 3rd. This team punched right back and scored 14 straight.

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

Stevens is far enough removed from college, and coaching, I don't think he'd be as close of a sure thing as he used to be. That said, he'd still be a better hire than Woodson was. -
Yep. And I say again, if they let Soto walk Cashman and Steinbrenner will never be able to show their faces in NY ever again. He was only real addition to the lineup; for much if the year it was him and Judge and a bunch other guys. Need Judge to wake up at the plate. Need to do something about first and third this off-season, Torres could leave and Chisholm is naturally a second anyway.
