  1. Woodson: "I did my job" Dolson: "Yeah, about that"
  2. Would we able to get rid of Woodson if we said he was also coaching Purdue football?
  3. Not counting Dakich as interim then IU has had 5 coaches since 2000 (Davis, Sampson, Crean, Miller, Woodson). Over 5 years per tenure, which is drug down by Sampson. Patience hasn't been a problem for IU. You'd almost have to try to be as bad at hiring coaches as IU has been.
  4. Some IUFB players had cigars after whipping Purdue all around the state last night, did Woodson smell it and try to butt in on their celebration? Like second hand success.
  5. Yeah, it's bad. Sampson was winning, and since the hires have been progressively worse. I didn't like the Miller hire but could at least see a possibility. Woodson was just an abysmal choice that should've never been considered.
  6. Unreal season in his first year, hopefully he keeps building. Several key players are done after this year so hopefully between HS and transfer portal he can bring in some studs and hopefully improve the lines.
  7. It is Mike Woodson, don't underestimate just how bad he is; and this team hasn't had the seemingly yearly arrest yet. So there's definitely a chance. He's neck and neck with Miller for worst coach in the last 25 years.
  8. Any news if the egg Woodson laid this week has hatched yet? Considering the size of that egg he'll struggle to sit for a while.
  9. He played for RMK, but you'd never guess it.
  10. Did we do the right thing and leave him on the Bahamas? Would Woodson getting canned pull Hill out of his 4 year long coma?
  11. Painter is a good coach; if they had Woodson and lost that they'd be up a creek without a paddle. Probably end up losing by double digits to little sisters of the poor.
  12. There's some talent on the team, Woodson just doesn't have the slightest clue what to do with it. A competent coach could do something with it. I'll think Miller is worse, than Woodson goes and completely craps himself yet again.
  13. I have no sympathy for them. No one forced them to give that to a poor candidate that wouldn't have been considered if he didn't play here 40 years ago. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Maybe they'll finally learn.
  14. That works. He repeatedly shows miserable coaching and fans are miserable having to watch his 1980s system.
  15. The team might get over the hump when Woodson is promoted to spectator.
  16. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/2024/04/03/contract-details-dusty-may-new-michigan-wolverines-mens-basketball-coach/73193964007/ May’s buyout, should he leave for another job, starts at $5 million and decreases each of the next four years, from $4 million to $2 million to $1 million to $500,000. If he’s fired without cause, the university will owe him 70% of his remaining base salary.
  17. Lazy recruiting because he has some rich friends willing to flush money down the toilet.
  18. Yeah plenty of his "coaching" jobs are pretty pathetic. Mediocre Mike has a better ring to it than Lousy Mike though.
  19. It wouldn't be surprising if Woodson thought we were playing Davidson.
  20. That's some fantastic senior leadership right there. As I said, with Woodson as coach the inmates run the asylum. They know they'll never face any accountability.
  21. If we get dog walked by Providence maybe they'll just leave Woodson in the Bahamas. Or maybe it's wishful thinking that IU would be that smart.
  22. As exciting as an unanesthetized colonoscopy.

  24. If we're lucky Woodson will be out too.
