    It was probably written for him, otherwise he'd have to decide between blaming the hump or saying he did his job because they lost by 28 instead of 38.

    The only thing keeping Woodson from being the single worst coach IU had had in the last 25 years is just how abysmal Miller was. Difference being Woodson was a laughably bad hire that was never going to work out.

    Woodson is so bad as a coach he makes Tom Crean look like Matt Painter.

    The "health reason" being he doesn't have the slightest clue what he's doing.

    Unfortunately he calls it coaching.

    It's the IU way. Can't move on when a bad coach shows they're not good enough, have to give them time to napalm whatever foundation might be left so the next guy has a built in excuse.

    He was exposed last season; he's just getting a swirlie from a coach with a pulse at this point. Woodson was a great player at IU, he's also a lousy coach that should've never been considered.

    Moral of the story, don't underestimate just how bad Woodson is.

    Stevie Wonder could've seen it was a bad investment in the first place.

    It should with a good coach, we have whatever Mike Woodson confuses with coaching.

    This season may help land some good transfers, gives a good "look what we can do". Couple it with a good boost in NIL and we could really start building something.

    We need Ciezki to be a consistent threat from outside, she won't score 34 every game but just being a reliable scorer helps. Not having Holmes hurts.

    It's obvious the problem today could only be one thing. The thing that's kept Woodson from 3 straight undefeated national titles (because his coaching is clearly unparalleled), his mortal enemy known simply as "the hump".

    This is turning into a route. Anyone on this board would've taken 10-1 at the beginning of the year, and this is really the first game with stupid mistakes. Beat Purdue, hopefully win the bowl game, and maybe we can start building. We need better talent.

    That pretty much does it, gotta hope we don't get blown out. Getting blown out would vindicate the talking heads.

    Crean wasn't anything special as a coach, but he's better than the two since. It's more an indictment of them than a compliment of Crean.

    Crean's a better coach than Woodson, period, he couldn't win consistently but could sometimes have a decent run even if the Final Four was a fluke. I do think he'd be better in the NIL era, especially with an assistant that focuses on defense.
