Hannah Stoffel committed last week.

Huntington North distance runner Hannah Stoffel will continue her track and cross country career in Bloomington. The senior signed with Indiana on Thursday in front of family and friends.

Stoffel becomes the third runner from the area to sign with IU’s track and cross country programs joining Homestead’s Graces Walther and Carroll’s Camerons Clements.

IU head coach Ron Helmer issued the following on his new runner:

“Hannah had an outstanding entry into high level running with her 4th place finish in the 2015 Indiana State 1600.  She splits time between running and basketball (she’s from Indiana after all) and we feel that once she devotes full time training to her track and field career she will help us not only on the track but in cross country as well.”
