If anyone would like to watch a really great example of how a DeVries-coached team plays, here's the extended highlights from 2023 (12) Drake vs (5) Miami.
The game basically came down to one possession, and Drake missed a 3 to tie it near the end. This is the same Miami team that bludgeoned Indiana to death in the second round and made a Final Four run (where they lost to eventual champion UConn). And DeVries' Drake team had them on the ropes. Aside from the UConn loss, this was Miami's closest game of the tourney.
One thing I found interesting in watching this: being a highlight video, it basically shows no missed shots, but even on Drake's defensive possessions when they gave up points, the discipline of the defense is there. Often times Miami just hit really tough shots. Drake looked to be the better team when it came to fundamentals and offensive gameplan.

They did that too! Lol, agree on all accounts though and have renewed myself. I don't really blame IU either, as they said they're one of the last schools in the conference to go to this system. A few more seasons like 2024 and they're going to be really bleeding us dry.
Edit: I don't like this part in particular. Feels like a slimy way of continuing to get their annual contribution. I'll see how I feel about that after giving it some thought, but at the moment my annual gift (and it isn't much) is going away.

I understand demand for season tickets being higher after the success we had last season, but the "donation" aspect leaves a sour taste. It's not technically a donation when you are being forced to pay an extra fee for your seat. Why not just raise ticket prices? BTW I have already renewed my season tickets for the upcoming season, lets go Hoosiers!

There are so many unknowns this season with all the transfer portal movement. I do think that the IU we see in September will likely be much different than the one we see in October/November. But with all the talent brought in not just from a player standpoint but also with the new coaching staff; if we can stay healthy I see us winning 6-7 games and going to a bowl game. GO HOOSIERS!

Mellencamp needs a lot of work, football only weight room and some things like that. We easily have the worst facilities. Purdue just did something like 100 million upgrade, NW did like 200 million. Have to keep up. The next head coach will get 7-9 million
