indianato Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 Sadly and honestly everything that's happened since MSU has quelled enthusiasm. We don't appear to be improving as the season progresses. I think Maryland beats us this week, yet I predicted us to win. No confidence with these guys. Glad to see the defense improve but the O is light years behind where it was last year. At least last year our offense was entertaining. I'll watch every single IU football game I can but this year's team seems lacking in playmakers. Quarterback play is what is killing this team. Unless he can make the midrange to deep throws accurately and without turnover, teams will continue to sit on the run. Lagow started on our 15 and when IU got to Maryland's 30, Zander went in along with a direct snap to Natee and it worked out great. Gedeon muffs the XP snap and has to eat it. 6-0 good guys. He has the football IQ needed for fast decisions in that tight part of the field, and has a quick release.
