"Jordan has 6 and LeBron only has 3".... no the Bulls won 6.

That is a statement of fact of how many titles each person has? When they say Kobe had 5, he had 5. They aren't talking about the Lakers. I don't know what you are trying to twist, but what you stated is fact. Jordan had six, with not playing a couple of years in his prime. Lebron has 3. His last one being his best.

No one has ever come back down 3-1, and no one has ever led both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. He did both in the same series. He's got the same number of rings as Jordan at age 31. More finales MVPs than Kobe. He has a shot at the scoring record and becoming the first 30,000 point, 10,000 rebound and 10,000 assist player. He's going to retire as the best to ever do it, even if he never wins another ring. Not bad for a kid from Akron.

You can't let a team start be the end all stat between two players. It makes no sense. LeBron still has at least 5 years left in him. And possibly some more finals appearances depending on what happens in the East. LeBron is now 3-4 in Finals and has been to 6 straight.

Yeah I agree, especially when minus the Mavs series he's done his thing in all his finals appearances. He's not out there playing by himself no matter how much it seems like it sometimes. I think the haters think losing before the finals is better than losing in the finals with how much they bring up Lebron's finals record.

He didnt get to the foul line because he didnt attack the rim! The few time she did he got blocked and shook. The warriors simply didnt execute in games 5,6 & 7. The behind the back pass Steph did and sloppy turnovers by multiple players in crucial moments are evidence of this. Lebron was dominate, kyrie and thompson showed up big in the bright lights and the cavs were the aggressors. There is no conspiracy.

Hopefully he keeps doing what he is doing for the next 5 years. He will be in the conversation with Jordan. A couple MVPs while being first team all defense will go a long way while playing 82.

He'll pass Jordan with flying colors if he keeps it up.

I've been watching LeBron since I was 8 and sneaking out of bed to watch him play when his high school games were on espn so I'm definitely biased when it comes to the Jordan/LeBron debate. I think this title might motivate him to gun for another MVP next year instead of coasting through the regular season. I doubt he'll make anymore first team all defense teams though. Too many vines of him not trying on defensive possessions that would barely get noticed without social media.

I can understand that from you. You were not able to watch Jordan in his prime. That's fine. You just won't hear many people agree with you that were able to actually watch both. Jordan did it at both ends of the floor guarding and dominating the other teams best player every night. Not when he chose. That's without his ages 30-33 seasons everyone still feels the way they do. You differ because you didn't see it.

Ehhhh. There's plenty of people who watched Jordan's career and may end up taking LeBron's. For me, LeBron is the better player, just hasn't had the better career yet. Also trying to take a shot at LBJ defense is laughable when he has been one of the best defenders since he came into that league.

LeBron was a really poor defender early on in his career, the first several years really. It wasn't until later in his first stint in Cleveland and really the Miami years where his defense became elite. Early in his career he didn't give the effort on that end, or understand positioning as well.

LeBron has Jordan, and almost everyone else, in pure physique and athletic ability at his size. Where Jordan has LeBron and almost everyone else is mental makeup. There are other differences but I don't think you or anyone else wants to get into those.

He is pretty darned good at defending 1-4. He doesn't have to defend the 5 much.

It's also a different game. 4's in 2016 are primarily pick and pop/perimeter bigs, and there are also a lot of small ball lineups. In Jordan's day the power forward was more of a post-up/physical/true big. It's a different game. While it wouldn't be his primary match-up, Jordan could defend a lot of 4's in today's game. He could defend Draymond Green for example.

He was not one of the best defenders coming in. He has grown leaps and bounds in that area. Same as his shot. He has grown a bunch which is impressive because he was 1000 times better than Jordan at 18. The one thing that hurts him IMO is coming out at 18 so he has the mileage he does at his age. So he can't play every game or play as intense as he did at 27. That isn't a knock. I am just splitting hairs, but Jordan dominated regularly. Where Lebron has stretches. He is one of the top players of all time. He has a chance depending how much his body holds up. That is one big dude with mileage. With Jordan's accolades at both ends of the floor and what he did to the league just makes him the best for me. Lebron may have the better physical God given talent, but he hasn't had the career Jordan had.
