LIHoosier Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Crabb for a class my freshman year. He talked to me mainly about his duties with IU facilities and mentioned his role as PA announcer as an aside. Took me on a brief tour of the inner workings of Assembly Hall including the floor (unfortunately it was covered for the mini 500). Just a great person. ccgeneral, southsidehoosier, HoosierAloha and 1 other 4 Quote
LIHoosier Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 This morning while I was at the gym this older guy (I think he said he was 82) started talking to me after seeing my IU t-shirt that I was wearing. He was talking about Chuck and how they were friends. He said he talked to Chuck right before he passed away and Chuck told him one of his wishes before passing was to talk to Bob Knight and try to reason with him about coming back to IU. Unfortunately he said Chuck passed away before he got the chance to do that. Just thought it was a cool story...But then he went on and on about other non-IU related stuff while I tried to get my workout in. They must not be good friends... ThompsonHoosier 1 Quote

johnsoniu Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Alright time to delete my profile and move far far away...Nice talking to all you wonderful people! It's all good brother. I mean, the guy did interrupt your workout. An interrupted workout can throw you off your game all day. HoosierAloha, ThompsonHoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER and 2 others 5 Quote
