TB with my vote... I love his passion and explosive personality... the Blocks are a thing we much needed, teams will begin to game-plan to not drive the ball to the paint!!!

I know the big guy "can" hit the 3 but that is absolutely not needed from him... just stay down low and do your thing TB!

I don't know.  If he's looking hot in practices, let him go out and drain a few threes.  Maybe it's a testing phase early in the season?

We already have plenty of guys who can shoot from the perimeter... Like I said I know he can hit them... and if he takes 1 a game or so then fine by me... but no reason for him to take 4 3s in a game in my opinion.

He is quickly becoming 1 of my favorites... but each person has a role and a responsibility and his needs to be down low for the most part.

I just don't see many guys that are going to be able to handle him in the post, even the big guys we will face in the Big Ten... while pulling them out to the perimeter sounds enticing (because I am positive there are not many big guys at all that could guard him out there) that leaves a gaping hole, and if they don't come out to guard him that limits our other players ability to drive the lane (if he was down there occupying them they couldn't come over to help defense as much).

TB is my vote. I don't want him shooting a ton of jumpers;however, if teams have to guard him out there it open up another huge offensive weapon. Image other bugs having to step out of their comfort zone with the way Troy cuts to the basket, the way Yogi can get to the rim, etc. that would take this offense up another notch.

I agree with this sentiment IF the other teams bigs go out to guard him... in this case all 4 3pt shot attempts were wide open, they stayed inside and dared him to shoot the 3 and he did (1 other time in the 2nd half they did it again but he passed up the shot).... If they go out to defend it opens driving lanes for sure, however if they lay off it makes it even harder to drive for our slashers.

I think the one he actually hit two defenders were out in his vicinity? In these games where we're up by a good margin I don't mind it. If he's hitting at a decent clip when B1G season starts let him shoot if they sag if not get him back down low.
