Swimming Quad Meet vs UK, UNC, Tennessee

Men's and Women's teams in action today in Bloomington.  Free admission!  For the swimmers, the ladies are 14th in the nation, while the men are ranked 9th.  For UNC, their ladies are 4th in the nation and men are 10th.  Tennessee comes in at #9 for the women, men #11.  And, while nobody really cares about UK, their men are ranked 14th and the women #28. 

 

The divers continue to improve, with 2 of our divers placing last week.

Men beat UK 233-67, beat Tennessee 156-144, but lost to UNC 152-146.

 

Women beat UK 230-70, but lost to Tennessee 153-145 and lost to UNC 180-120.  

 

IU tallied 10 individual wins against very tough competition.

In other words, it was a good day because they both embarrassed UK.
