Cody Zeller. He was awesome. Hornets have found great ways to use him.

He has a small wingspan compared to other players his height and in the league.

His poor wingspan returns to haunt here as it hurts his ability to defend entry passes, though his quickness and IQ can definitely help create turnovers in this regard.

People looked at Zeller as an athletically challenged big with short arms.

the article by Bleacher Report shows that Zeller having short arms was a myth. There was a report that he had a wingspan of 6-8 but was actually 6-10.75 which is completely fine considering he's 6-10.75 w/o shoes and isn't short for his height. And we all know he's an athletic freak.

I fully expect to see Zeller give several facials out next season. Someone just needs to piss him off.. Who was the Illinois dork who caught the bad end of zeller?

Meyers Leonard was the dork. I wanted to punch him oh so badly.

His Pau Gasol poster was awesome. Put the Kenneth Faried on a poster too.

I know this doesn't count but still.

I don't think Cody would ever fight anyone. I think he'd rather just laugh it off. Which is good.

It is normal to have a wingspan the same as your height so if you have a longer wingspan than your height you are the anomaly

Zeller, athletically challenged? What? He was one of the fasted bigs in nba draft history with one of the highest verticals. Whoever wrote that had no idea what they were talking about

Well by NBA standards isn't having a wingspan equal to your height without shoes considered the anomaly? Whenever you read about guys and their wingspan only matches their height without shoes it is considered bad. Even with having what most of us would consider a desirable wing span, it is considered at best okay in the NBA

there are a lot of NBA players like that. Especially your really good defensive players. But Zeller having short arms was when a report came out about a 6-8 wingspan.

no, you only see it stated when a player has a crazy wingspan, not to many articles written about the norm
