OREGON STATE – 2014: Kyle spent the spring practice session immersed in a three-way battle for the No. 2 quarterback job … did not play in a game. 2013: Redshirt … played scout team quarterback.

 

WASHINGTON: Rivals ranked Kyle No. 71 on the top prospects list for Ohio … passed for single-season school record 3,056 yards as a senior, with 32 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions ... as a sophomore, Kempt threw for 1,643 yards, with 14 touchdowns and only four interceptions ... as a junior, he threw for 1,335 yards, and added 16 touchdown passes with four interceptions … led the Tigers to an 11-2 season in 2012 and to the Division 1 finals … 2012 Stark County Player of the Year … second team all-state quarterback by the Associated Press … 4.25 cumulative GPA in high school and was the class Valedictorian … attended Aloha High School in Oregon before moving with his family to Ohio following his freshman year.

Even if this kid has to sit a year, we may need him next year. Sudfield is ranked as the 6th best QB in the 2016 draft.
