I hate Wisconsin and I can't stand Bo Ryan. So naturally, I am rooting for Wisconsin tonight. I really think there's a good possibility that if Wisky wins, Bo will retire and go out on top, especially since he's graduating Kaminsky, Jackson, Dukan and Gasser plus Dekker will go to the NBA (for sure if they win...if not he might try a Kaminski and return).

 

So purely from the best thing that could happen to IU:

Decker as always is a main key to a Wisconsin win. It will be interesting to see how hard Coach K works the refs when Decker initiates the contact by placing his off shoulder and forearm into the defensive player. He is a master at the move which results in him pushing off of the defensive player and knocking the defensive player off balance. Do it until they call it a couple of times.

Bo will rebuild, we all know this. But, it will be nice to see this current group, plus Dekker, move on. Gives us a fighting chance next ear.

I'm rooting for Wisconsin guys. Even though I don't like Bo, I'd like to see them win. I like all of their starting 5! Other than Dekker was a McD's AA but was only recruited by Wisky, Valpo, Milwaukee, Northern Iowa, Northern Illinois and Bradley (this surprised me.) nobody was going after these kids for the most part other than your Mid Majors. I won't be terribly upset if Duke wins because I like coach K. Even when I was a kid, I liked him before I found out the Knight connection.

As for my prediction, I think Duke wins! Defensively, they are playing at a really high level right now. Wish we could play that level of D here at IU!!!
