 Drake's ShanQuan Hemphill underwent foot surgery and will miss a month, per release. Was the team's leading scorer and rebounder. Significant MVC news.

Horrible, horrible foul call puts Dosunmu on the line with 53 seconds to tie it.  Mayon missed a wide open three that would have likely ended it at the one minute mark.

ESPN gave Illinois a 90% chance of winning this game.

Illinois should send roses to the Big Ten offices. Goodness, they’re going to escape with the win. That would have been a disastrous loss for their seeding.

I’m just a mailman but moving forward if I’m underwood Curbelo is in the starting lineup and playing more then 14 minutes.   You can tell a big difference when he gets in the game.   I agree with the Illini fans on their message boards when they criticize him for not playing him more. 
 

Illinois isn’t going to apologize for an ugly OT win against a team that has lost its last 25 B1G games.   Take the road win and get the heck out of town lol.
