Freshman of the Week and a couple of injuries

Tegray Scales was named Co-Freshman of the Week by the B1G. Also, Kenny Mullens and Marcus Oliver have both apparently suffered ACL injuries and are out for the rest of the year.

Mullens probably would have been mostly a depth and special teams player this year. Oliver, however, was getting a fair bit of playing time.

Congrats to Tegray, best wishes for full and speedy recoveries for Kenny and Marcus.

 

Feel really bad for Kenny. His playing time has been slipping but was still contributing on special teams. Dude put his heart and soul into this program for four years to help get things turned around and now may miss out on the chance to play in a bowl game. Crap.
