Hoosier Optimism

As you all have noticed, I've been down on recruiting since the Blackmon recommit. We have a negative momentum going for our Hoosiers on and off the court! I am hoping this changes!

HOWEVER, we have plenty to be OPTIMISTIC about:

1. Yogi Ferrell- A total stud Jr. 5 star PG. Do it all, once in a great while, McD AA!
2. James Blackmon- A ridiculous 5 star scoring threat. Potential to be best shooting Hoosier ever!
3. Stan Robinson- A tough as nails 4 star grinder. Could be a superstar!
4. Troy Williams- A human highlight reel. 4 star Dunk-a-Thon with NBA type athleticism!
5. Hanner Perea- Another 4 star uber athlete! Show promise with shooting touch from line!
Rob Johnson- A 4 star do it all type guard with motor and tenacity.
Devin Davis- A local 3 star worker destined to prove he is better than advertised. Bulldog!
Max Hoetzel- A confident TALL shooter with attitude!
Zeisloft- A smart shooter, who is NOT AFRAID to hit the open 3


Big time games with SMU, Pitt, UofL, Butler, and Georgetown.

Fear not, I am excited and optimistic for things to come.

Granted you will surely hear more of my recruiting frustrations to come.

I'm pumped. We got Strong minded, ready to learn freshman who can put the ball in basket, strong sophomores who will take what they learned last year and throw it into the mix, and our experienced juniors/seniors? Who will lead and who know what To do to get W's. I have good hopes, not HIGH hopes but I am optimistic about seeing how Crean can turn it around, and how the players can compete as a strong unit in the best conference in America.<br /><br /><br />Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Ferrell is going to be a beast.  can't wait to see it.

Just from his fresh to soph years was incredible, hopefully the skill level increase is exponential here.

this year's team is going to be awesome! I believe they are going to pleasantly surprise us fans this year.

this Canada trip is going to be great too, for so many reasons. More practices, game experience, away game experience especially, chemistry builder. all good things

Chemistry is what this team needs most. We didn't have that last year. These guys need to be all in for the team and the game plan 100%. Last year was such a debacle because half the team apparently didn't even like the other half. Hence the transfers.
