Best NCAA coach in the game right now?

The year they "had Noel", they didn't actually "have Noel".

They did for most of the year while they were terrible.   Plus the rest of that #1 recruiting class

14-6 with him. 7-6 without him. I agree they should've been A LOT better, but their best player wasn't around for the most important stretch of the season.

14-6 with him in a terrible conference is...well...terrible.  Plus when he got injured,  the rest of the players were still extremely highly ranked players.  It's not like it was a bad team around Noel.  UK fans just use that injury as an excuse and I don't let them lol.

To be fair, only 2 of those losses were in conference (to bad teams, though). 2 others were to highly ranked Duke and Louisville. Also, didn't Cauley-Stein go down that year too? I know I sound like I'm defending UK, but I'm just saying that Noel was a big piece of that team and it really hampered them when he went down.

We added 3 great players who we can rebuild with and a player who went lottery in the NBA. Had Fisher stayed, the would have been 4 solid guys to build a new team around. Hence why I said if Fisher had stayed we wouldn't even be talking about it. Troy and Stan will be 1,000 point scorers and DD will be a solid player here. Remember when we had to year by year build the 2012-2013 team? UConn had three freshman on their entire team last year. Louisville had 2 that played in their championship run. We won't win until we have experience, especially in the B1G

That is the frustrating part, players under Crean have transferred before becoming upper classman
