(2016) SG Eli Wright to Mississippi State

You don't hear of many basketball prospects coming out of Owensboro. I can only think of one other between basketball and football combined.

Apollo has a few D1 Guys in Wright & 2017 Trace Young who is receiving high d1 looks now. I've watched Wright play a few games, cannot shoot very well, ball handling is avg., plus athleticism and length.

As for Owensboro basketball;
Owensboro High in 2015: Coleman- Miss St, and a few D2's
Apollo: Wright, Young, & Pg Ben Moss received a few looks from D1's I believe (2016)
Davies County HS: supposedly has a 2016 or 17 Mr. Kentucky candidate. I've lived here for a few months now. Just hear say.
Football here has had a few D1 & 1 ND Player in the last Couple years.
