Is Miles the Big Ten version of Stevens? The guy says things that are remarkably close to the things Stevens used to put out there. I.E...."play defense, rebound, figure something out on offense...value possessions...yadda yadda". I know some of this is general coach speak, but I admire coaches that mention offense in an "oh by the way" format. Both Nebraska and Butler have found success where no one even gave them a chance. I don't know...I like Miles...he may or may not be the B1G version of Stevens, but the dude can flat out coach. Since Nebraska doesn't really lose anything going into next season, maybe this question is best reserved to see if he can improve on the success they found this year. What say you?

I think he is a phenomenal coach. He's so good he's able to relax and tweet during half times! In all seriousness, he's don't an incredible job this year and will lead Nebraska to the big dance for the first time in 14 years. Pretty incredible what he has that team doing right now.

It will be interesting to see if Miles can sustain his team's success next season. They ended up with a very favorable conference schedule this season. The only conference game they won that was surprising was beating MSU in East Lansing. They have wins against Wisconsin and Ohio State, but those games were in Lincoln so Nebraska winning isn't a big upset. Other than that, Nebraska's best win is at Assembly Hall, but when Northwestern and Penn State win there it's not saying much that Nebraska won too.

I like what Miles has done. The guy can coach, but a lot of Nebraska's success this year is thanks to the schedulers in the conference office.
