I almost had an aneurysm over that one. That's the type of play that can drastically impact a game later on.

49-27 since the Pacers were up 15. Just total domination by Miami over the last 17 minutes.

The Pacers aren't getting to the Finals until Wade and Lebron are on different teams. Miami is just too good and when those two are on, nobody in the East has enough scoring to keep up. 

 

 

 

Wade was gassed last year because of that winning streak. He's fresh this year, and it's paying off for the Heat. I think this series ends next Friday night.

I have nothing for you.  I'm just hoping to see Kawhi Leonard shut Lebron down in the finals.  Given how the NBA is he'll be starting the game with two fouls.

Honest to God, the "super team" era of basketball will be the death of my interest in this sport. I'm as apathetic about IU basketball as I've ever been and part of it is because all the McDonald's All-Americans want to play together at UK. Even the ones that don't go there seek to team up elsewhere, but they want no part of playing in the cornfield known as Indiana. All a bunch of warm-weather seeking sissies who want to be coddled and show off their hops instead of playing the game the way it was meant to be played. 

 

 

Same crap in the NBA. Every big name free agent is linked to Miami somehow. And weather always has to play a part in it. Play for a winner in Indiana? Nah, too cold. Not flashy enough. And nothing but corn. Much better conditions in South Beach, where you can play alongside two players who have made careers off simply being more athletic than everyone else. 

 

 

The phrase "always a bridesmaid" comes to mind right now. And it sucks.

I was born in Indiana, grew up an IU fan and if I was a big time bball recruit I'd still have a hard time choosing IU over a warm weather school.  So Cal or South FL girls and weather, or IU with good looking girls and bi-polar Indiana weather?  I'd still choose IU, but it would be a difficult choice.

 

It does suck, but I get it.
