Is it too much to ask for 5 consistent players?  Evan and Stan were maddening tonight.  

 

The positive tonight though was definitely Jeremy and Hanner.  Glad to see those two have a really nice game and play within themselves.

No I'm not singling anybody out. I'm just as mad as you, but some people tend to not think before they speak after these types of games.

I will say that I wish it had been will yogi or Noah taking the 3 for us. Gordon has done nothing to be trusted in that situation.

Overall, a better choice. Evan doesn't dribble with his head down directly into the defense every time. He's been more consistent in the past. Stan is a diamond in the rough, just needs polished. Evan has (in the past) had a sense of leadership, and a 3 pt threat. Granted, it didn't materialize tonight

This team would be great if the game was only 20 minutes long. Seen some good stuff though, from different players besides 11 and 1.

Maybe give Jeremy more minutes who actually had a good first half, instead of relying on Gordon in a close game when he hasn't been much of a shooter in his entire college career.

I don't call a guy that shoots 35% from deep a 3 point threat.  That's a guy I play just tight enough defense on to keep him from having all day to shoot.

We needed two ball handlers on the floor, especially with the way they were pressing.  Mathieu and Hollins would have ran circles around Jeremy or Will too.

Without a stop there, needing ballhandlers is irrelevant. I'd go defense first then worry about getting the ball up the floor. They would run circles around just about anybody gambling on a steal like Evan did.

With some of the possessions we had with Evan as our primary ball handler he wasn't really doing anything. I get wanting to have another ball handler in the game, but Evan never really showed much in terms of doing anything offensively in the game, and defensively it would have made sense to have other guys in the game ahead of him

Seriously guys.  We may have a very, VERY special guest tonight.  No guarantees, but if it happens (is possible), you will know it when you see it.  We expect those to be on their best behavior to this person IF it happens.  No exceptions.  We will draw the line on this, because things like this don't happen often.  I am assuming it will be someone who may not be as active, but will lie in the weeds.  The powers that be can attest to that, but we will look out for the best interests of that person.

Looks like a couple posts were lost in translation over to the new server. We addressed this before, but we should be good to go now.
