BTownBanners Fantasy Baseball League

Hey everyone, I've done this for quite some time at previous sites. Fantasy Baseball is by far my favorite out of all the fantasy sports. I will be doing two leagues for the site, one free and one pay. All of the funds through the pay league will be kept out of this site. Everyone will pay their entrance fee to me using Paypal or mail, and will be distributed the same way. The entrance fee will be $25. I am hoping to do 10 players for each league, but it would be great to see another league added as well. So we can keep adding people in hopes for another league, but the first ten are in for sure. I will update this post to add posters who want to play.

My 6th grade son is a baseball FREAK, and while I consider myself a moderately knowledgeable sports fan, he knows more about baseball than me. In fact, he knows more about the 1935 St. Louis Browns than any of us know about the 2013-14 IU basketball team.

 

Therefore, I would like to humbly submit my son, Alexhoo, as the defender of the Stuhoo family name and a participant in the free league.

 

If that is acceptable, be prepared to have the young lad kick many of your sorry asses on a regular basis.

The league that I do in terms of point system, is by 10 total possible points per week. The 10 points come from 5 batting categories and 5 pitching categories. 5 batting - runs, rbi's, homeruns, steals, and batting average. / 5 pitching - strikeouts, era, wins, saves, and whip. When you select players, you want to try and have all areas covered, or most. Each week, you face a different opponent for those 10 categories. You can get 0 to 10 points, with of course wanting to get 10 points. After each week, your scores are added to see who has the most points.

I hope this helps give it a quick breakdown.
