Anyway you cut it, this defense has not got better as the year has went along. The offense has no flow, and the defense has made a few stops, but have reverted to previous form.

You're exactly right! It reminds me of the "almost days". When I was younger, we'd listen to games on radio. We were so bad, Fish would try to make the best of things by making everything "almost"- almost a first down, almost a stop, almost had momentum lol
