McDonald, 6-5, 317 pounds, played in two games with the Seattle Seahawks this season before being signed to their practice squad on November 22, 2014. He was released on November 26. McDonald was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana University on May 14, 2012 and also spent time with the Carolina Panthers in 2013. At Indiana, McDonald played in 36 games with 25 starts, including the last 23 games at left tackle. As a senior in 2011, he started all 12 games at left tackle and opened holes for the Hoosiers to rush for 1,374 yards in Big Ten Conference games, the team’s highest total since 2001.
