You got that right!  Hope Carl settles his dumb butt down lol.  I am so pumped for some Zombies.  I don't know why, but I've always been fascinated by the Zombie apocalyspe.

Yeah, people who continually make stupid, pig headed mistakes like Carl does (and too often, Rick) would end up dead quickly. I lobe post-apocalyptic stories anyway. The Road, The Postman, the Book of Eli, Mad Max, ....etc. They are all worth a watch.

For those that watched, what did you think?

Quick thoughts-

-first season I've watched live, the commercials seem to take a ton of the suspense away!

- things are about to get flat out crazy in that prison next episode. Can't wait for that.

- always go to sleep with your door locked or jail closed :)

That's the truth. They directors said they thought the Walkers were manageable last season and didn't cause many problems. They are making sure that isn't the case. They also said episode 2 takes things to a whole new level and is CRAZY. Episode 3 makes things even more nuts. Can't wait.

Just watched it because I was traveling last night from back home.

 

Anyway, some quick thoughts:

 

- The pig and Patrick have to be some sort of symbolism to come.

- Great job emphasizing where Rick almost went mentally with the lady in the woods.

- the new guy (army medic) will be playing an important role, either good or bad.

- This episode was good in terms of setting up the episodes to come. Beth's calendar of accident days IMO was a foreshadow for this season.

- I heard rumors the governor will be back early this season, but I don't know if it will happen. N

 

Next week is going to be INSANE!

Agreed. I thought the pig was a striking instance of foreshadowing. It made me feel like something terrible was on its way but remained ambiguous at the same time.

I also agree the army medic guy is going to be of significance. He kinda gives me the creeps haha.

The Walking Dead has picked up a HUGE following since Midway through the 2nd season I believe. it seemed like a lot of my friends were talking about this show during that time.

 

By far my favorite show.

Breaking Bad was my favorite. And Dexter was a close second. Now that both are over TWD is my favorite. It was a close 3rd for a while.

I can't help it, TWD is my thing. I love zombie apocalypse theory, so this show is amazing for me. I was a huge Resident Evil fan until they started letting the zombies use guns.

Wish my wife was in to zombie movies. Bless her thou, she watches TWD with me bcuz we try to watch each others show.

I had fun this morning. Tried explaining this show to a co-worker who just started watching it this season. She was so lost and confused.
