The Walking Dead Thread

What are you guys thinking right now? I'm interested to see what happens next week.  The infection and the zombies at the fence peeked at the same time last episode creating chaos that I thoroughly enjoyed.  Seeing Carl casually toss his Pop a fresh mag of ammo while they slayed a wall of zombies together was AWESOME. Thought the metaphor of the peas in a pod towards the end of the episode was clever/funny/spot on, despite being a little cheesy.  I still don't think we've seen the end of Carol..and I'm still interested to see how Daryl reacts to the news of Rick banishing her.  I have a feeling we will soon lose a major character (not including Carol b/c who knows what will happen there).  Glenn would be an obvious candidate since he's so ill, but I think he'll recover from the brink of death - making Maggie very happy, but only for short while - I think Hershel may be the next to go.  His time certainly seems to be nearing doesn't it?

Also, I am so freaking happy (spoiler alert for those of you who aren't caught up) that they finally revealed the governor outside of the prison fences.  I'm dying to know exactly what he's been up to and what his plan is.

I've really enjoyed this season of TWD. It keeps getting better IMO.  Sorry for the rant/review, but I have to give my girlfriend a break from my TWD analysis and predictions haha.

Really, really liked this past episode.  To me, the best episode of the season!  For those that haven't checked out the sneak peak on AMC, I recommend it and pay attention to the end.  It is about the Governor, and makes you question how he's coming back mentally (how I took it anyway).

I don't know if we will see the Governor attacking the prison just yet, but it is getting close.  I can see them using the next few epsidoes to show the prison recovering from the illness and the Governor prepared to attack the prison.  For some reason, I feel like Carol will be involved some how with this.  Either captured by the Governor or will save the prison.  I am extremely curious to see Darryl's reaction about Carol.  Maggy and Herschel seemed just fine with the decision.

I can't wait for Sunday to watch the new episode.  Like other's have said, I really liked the mass walker killing by Rick and Carl.  I think it's a foreshadow of what's to come when Carl gets a chance to step up more.  He's finally getting less annoying to me haha.

I also feel like a main character will be dying soon, but just a guess.  It's been awhile since a main character died (since Andrea last season).  Who knows, because it may be hard to kill off someone unless it's among the Herschel four (him, maggy, glenn, and beth).  If Darryl or Rick die soon, I riot! lol

I occasionally watch 'The Talking Dead' after the premier of the new episode. It was interesting a lot of the discussion, there is so much mystery over what the show is going to do with the Governor, what is his mental state, is he with anyone else, how long has he been watching the prison. The next episode should be really interesting to say the least.

The sneak peak shows a little of one thing you said, but doesn't show it all.  I'm a Walking Dead fanatic, and also a Zombie Apocalypse junkie.  I don't get my life involved with it, but just fascinated by the idea.

Very interesting episode tonight, and not at all what I was thinking. I was expecting more zombie/illness drama. It was a good episode in terms of the Governor. Looks like he may become a good guy. Very interested to see how this plays out.

I am curious to see if the prison will be back in a few episodes, and where the timeline will be? I didn't like the episode at first, but made a lot more sense after I thought about it. They are setting up a good story with the Governor. If you watched The Talking Dead, the person who plays the Governor stated a few times that he is taking a new turn, and is wanting to, but when he see's his old friend it was a bad thing to happen because he is wanting to forget the old. Will become an inner battle for him.

Also, a shout out to Chris Hardwick. He is the host of The Talking Dead, and he lost his father on Saturday, and wasn't sure if he would be there to host it. He had a great few minutes at the end to talk about it, and the importance of family. Felt really bad for him, but it was a very touching moment by him.

Was a different episode than I expected. Though it definitely cool to see what has been going on with the Governor. I keep expecting his overwhelming craziness to bust out, but it never really happened last night, there were "lights" of it, but nothing too over the top. Or anything to say there is clearly something wrong with this guy. Can't wait for next week's episode.
