Why all the Jones hate? I really don't get it. I like his aggressive, unusual attacking style.

My favorite (style wise) fighters are Cerrone, Cain V, Jones, Barbosa, Lauzon. I like guys who attack and try to finish fights. Either through Muay Thai, Submissions, or Ground and Pound.

Boring wrestlers are hard to watch.

I come from a wrestling and BJJ background. Both are amazing but the wrestler types need to learn BJJ to finish fights, because a cradle is never going to get it done.

I also love Judo throws. Ronda Rousey is awesome with them. Wish some good Judo guys existed. Karo Parisyan was good for a bit but not athletic enough.

Anyway, I like fight finishers and normally Jones goes for it. He doesn't bother me.

If you have about a half hour check out the article I posted above last night for some insight on the Jones hate. Or at least skim through it.

Jones is an arrogant dude. Until someone knocks him off his pedestal he will be who he is. Typically fighters respect other fighters after fights. Jones really hasn't. He got everything so young. I am a fan of the dude due to his talents. A lot of people want to see him get ktfo to get humbled. He just promotes himself like a boxer. Not a mma guy.

I think that is a needed mentality in the fight world. As soon as you are psychologically beaten or have doubts you aren't the best, you will start losing soon. Cocky and confident are very understandable to me because I think it's a necessity to win at the rate the BEST do. I don't hate athletes for being confident, because I understand it to be a prerequisite to going into battle.

I don't like the fact he has multiple eye pokes every time he fights or the fact he likes to front kick guys in the knees. He's a good fighter but a very dirty fighter. Plus Gus beat the crap out of him and got screwed because of the judges. Jones collapsed after the fight and got taken on a stretcher to the hospital. The guys forehead was swollen and bruised, eye swollen shut, and lip busted open and everyone besides those judges that has any common sense knows he lost that fight.

Unfortunately it is a big part of his game to not let a dude inside on him. He puts his hand in the guy's face to maximize his 84" reach. Even heavyweights don't have that kind of reach. I prefer someone to throw jabs to maintain a distance, but understand why he does it. I honestly don't think he has a good jab or he would use it instead of the paw in face.

I get it too but with as much as he does it I'm not so sure that it's always accidental. Adding that to the front knew kicks I just can't stand it.
